Maybe the fans will vent on someone else than Dessers tonight, came in at half time and worked his socks off, Cyriel deserves some credit as he works his baws off and scores goals, something this team lacks. Barron huge again when he came on, what a player. Good signs from Jefte too and young Fraser. Onwards and upwards lads 💪💙

Spot on Billy on all counts, despite many being in denial about it thought some of his link up and touches were excellent. He got his goal out of sheer determination and a bit of quality. Goal and an assist in a stuffy game isnt too shabby. 5 games 3 goals 1 assist, not bad for a dud. Mark of the man that knowing half already have their minds made up he was over facing the fans and giving them back some applause. Let’s hope we soon have two or three fit strikers and they can mix it up a bit or we could go mad and play two up ! Impressed today by Jefte, good on the ball but liked his tenacity in hunting the ball back and had a bit of dig, good to see. Not always a fan of McAuslands end product but today he used the space out wide well and that was a classy finish. I think if the mood wasnt so bad that would have been seen as a good solid win, ST Johnstone made it hard and were physical but thought we coped well. My MOTM would have been Soutter, even before the injury I thought he was the better of the two CB, he was physical, was stepping out well, winning his duels and putting his body on the line. Seemed to be constantly fouled but just kept going too which was positive. Propper yet to convince for me. A good day at the office and I actually enjoyed the game for a change.

Souttar was excellent and carried on his play from Kiev game where he was very very good too. I thought the team lifted when Barron came on and he was such a huge player for us, that boy is going onto greater things, hopefully with us if not we will make a lot of money in him, such a composed player and a winner. I thought Jefte was superb today and a very good cameo from young Robbie Fraser, that boy can play, if our fans allow him to develop we have a player on our hands but they may go down the he is shite route if he fails to perform in a 90 minute game I seen some good signs tonight and I seen a team who is together

Feeling a bit more positive after that. Jefte, Barron and Cerny all looking like really good signings- if we can get another 2 or 3 in before the end of the window it might not be the write off season most of us were fearing
