Player of the week Soutter as much as it surprises me 😂

Craig Fryatt

Finally a show without That Kev Guy Souttar player of the week

Shaun Watson

Player of the week is tough, sadly not one consistent player but I’ll give it to Barron as he was decent against Kiev

Douglas Wright

Manager said Propper was a few days and not a few weeks. Said it was a back knock that caused pain in his groin.

Latimer

Sterlings demeanour is that of a player who is disillusioned and I can't blame him. Starting Tavernier at right back ahead of him is an arrestable offence.

Graham Ellis

I commend you podders for not wanting to put too much pressure on Barron and keep him grounded, but I will be raging if he doesn't win the Ballon D'or this year.

Alastair McGeoch

No sympathy for the latest ref “conspiracies” a -1) when the Johnstone handball at Parkhead was not given and then a marginal offside “still” appeared 25 mins later we were told red got to correct decision so suck it up. So…suck it up. 2) no association is serious about improving refereeing standards by appointing Willie colum so…get used to sucking it up! Dessers for player of the week for me (again), takes the brunt of the fans frustration every week but comes on and scores the goal the breaks the deadlock. We keep talking about the credit in the bank Tav has when he’s poor yet Dessers 20+ goals last season get him none. If not for Dessers start of this season would be a lot bleaker I think.

James Tucker

Jefte, especially after that ridiculous decision on Tuesday. He did not let him affect him at all. We really could have a player there

Spoon

Justice for Kev, he’s this platforms Dessers (if less prolific).

Scott Stewart

Is sterling a rb ? Would it be fair to say clement seen bigger issues than replacing tav , who was Gers top scorer ,scored 28 goals , 10 from Open play which in comparison to dessers is 43% of dessers return . Why didn’t he buy a rb in summer , my only conclusion can be because he must rate him. Why leave him captain if you trying to sell him. Things don’t add up . What I would say is Tavs and Everyone else knows he’s not a great defender. Hes there for what he offers going forward and his assist. Pens and set pieces. Some of his delivers to dessers last season was incredible.

Scott Stewart

Souttar was excellent Middweek. Probably his best performance for Gers , he was good against st j but fell asleep for one they should have scored. That aside much improved

Scott Stewart

On Barron.. the manager says he didn’t expect him to be a mainstay. But one for the future . What trouble would we be in if barron never stepped up. He looks excellent and for me been our best player , Him and Cerny are real shining lights and hope moving forward .

Scott Stewart

Tav hit 28 Goals last year. ten of which from open play. That’s 43% of dessers 22 goal return not to mention Tavs assists. Tavs not there for his defensive abilities. As Gerrard said If he could defend he won’t be at Gers ! The simple fact is he’s done his legs are gone , lost two yards but what does that say when he’s scoring almost half of dessers goal return . That’s why dessers is questioned , but he looks to have improved all round. On last season. Positive stuff be shouldn’t get too carried away it was a game we should be winning.

Ryan McMillan

He’s called Kev Armstrong, but his arms don’t look that strong. I for one, don’t like liars.

QB_72

Jefte this week especially after the way the young fella bounced back from that nonsense with the ref on Tuesday. Barron looking like the type of player we should be focusing on getting in (alongside our own youth players getting more of a shot at glory) youthfull, no fear, wiser and more mature than their age would suggest.

Scott Stewart

Propper looks solid, strong on the ball , an eye for a diagonal pass and builds plays , lacks some real pace but reads the games well think he’ll turn out a good signing.impressed so far .. hopeful.

Scott Stewart

Tavs was poor first half. Second half I thought him and cerny linked up better and little threat from st j down rhs. Partnership on right will take time to develop , looked better second half as did overall team .

William Mcdonald

Jefte looked good both games and linked very well with Matondo. If Matondo had scored one then they both would have been recieving big plaudits

Ricky

Jefte, showed a bit of character after Tuesday’s disappointment.

ali t

Concerned re Sterling niggling injuries and has a face like fizz. Hopefully he gets more game time. When is Raskin due back so we can spell Barron and Diomande ?

Dougie

Jefte for me after his fine showing v St Johnstone and disgraceful sending off 👏👏

Martin Sutherland

There is obviously a massive issue at the club with injuries. Clement has made an arse of himself slating Beale so openly. We are 5 games and have had 6/7 injuries. He is a big part of our issues.

mountaingoat

Jefte. He will cause teams lots of problems this year when he gets going

Simon H&H

Jefte in 1st followed by Souttar so far

Spoon

Souttar and Jefte have had a good game each for me, Jefte probably more eye catching though as very dynamic last time out.. Cherny getting overhyped for me already, some touches but some of his passing at the weekend was poor. Barron consistently hitting good levels and love the boys attitude. He’s the winner this week to me. Unimpressed so far with Propper, not seeing the stuff others are. Bit rash, bit reckless and hasn’t been commanding with balls into box. I get he is only just in but he should be as fit as the others and as sharp as he has been playing in Holland. Not writing him off but he seems a bit like Cherny to be new, untalented and therefor automatically better. Some folk already rumbling about Dio and Sterling as they aren’t the new guys any more, as usual I’m not writing anyone off or over hyping them, when we have had a run of games and the team settles (hopefully) then we can judge.
