Your idea about bringing a book out for bluffers talking about sport; sorry pal, but Michael Stewart has beaten you to it. Although his is unfortunately a an audio and visual version.

Calum Robertson

Since you mentioned Emmerdale, would Shane be the Amos Brearley of H&H ?

Scotty Dog

To the opening comments of the show. This (and previously the CROpod) are one of my favourite parts of the week where I can remove my serious brain and just listen along mumbling to myself, dribbling and laughing. Never change

Tamus

Dave Surely you seen Ray in Scum and Quad first

Heart and Hand

Funnily enough Tam when I was 7 my parents preferred I watched Robin of Sherwood on Saturday teatimes than violent prison dramas :-)

Thank you! I love the comments on shows like this when people make jokes and tell stories. Thing is, we wouldn't bother recording if nobody listened. Yes, it's a Rangers site first and foremost but we're a community, I think almost like a massive group of online friends, and occasionally you just want a laugh with your pals!

Best comemt about the weekend from david - "what a fucking mess" 🤣

John Palmer

Really enjoyed that, cheers lads

John Smith

Truth Social slander ? Not having it !

Unspooled just did a great podcast on Airplane (and previously Blazing Saddles). Also rewatched the Naked Gun trilogy recently. 33.3 was better than 2.5 (which I remembered to be better than it actually is).

So I married an axe murderer is a staple of this household, that much that when my daughter split from her boyfriend after 2 years, I left it 4 days or so before heading round to the ex boyfriends house (he had borrowed it) to collect my copy of this film. He was clearly crapping it when he answered the door, he didn't even get to say high, I just said "can I get so I married an axe murderer back" he scampered upstairs, got it and handed it back, turned and went home happy. Got back in the house and the ex had text my daughter to say I had been round to "pick up that dvd of that stupid film" now I didn't want to hit him when I went over but after that text the rage was on, how dare he. He was one of them so no surprise he had no sense of humour My daughter told me he missed out on oasis tickets, she and my wife got them and he is livid,so I'm delighted with the outcome

When the US approved the merger of Ticketbastard and Live Nation, it screwed the market. When you own exclusivity on arenas, it's not exactly great for the consumer. Most of these businesses don't want capitalism. They prefer corporatism. Much better for profits.

The Cure did well taking on Ticket Master over this issue and it served fans well. However, because they ‘TM’ have near monopoly in this arena they obviously ignore that challenge and march onwards (my Ticket Master wings are like a shield of steel). Are the Gallachers bothered? Doubt it. Good on them if no one is challenging it.

The pool balls in the sock scene in the movie, ‘Scum’ was particularly distressing to me as a youngster. 🫣 Good film.

TheThe release their new album Ensoulment on friday this is really good news unrelated to Gers stuff. It’s good to have interests outwith the footie. Randall Carlson for me, and TheThe. And loads more…

Johnnie Mitchell

Seen a similar scene just lately in Time on iPlayer, and it’s was as hard a watch all these years later even knowing what was coming. Good listen lads 👍🏻

Graham Roy

If you really want a laugh listen to it at 0.5 speed! It’s like a conversation after a session in the pub!

I think Myers dad is Liverpool fella actually

The Snapper is the second book in the Barrytown Trilogy, after the Commitments and before “The Van”. Side note, the hospital is the Rotunda in Dublin and both my kids were born there. The pub he’s supposed to be in is the Parnell, which is opposite the Shinners HQ. All this obviously puts my staunchness to question… and yes I did go for a pint there on both occasions.

I worked with a girl who called memes "mem-ehs".

Stuart Porter

I come here not to listen about the football 🤣
