8pm that's typical of Scottish of football. The ground will be half empty. No trains no subway roads closed total shambles.

Stephen

St Johnstone probably don’t want to switch because they would rather we played them on their ploughed field in the middle of winter

Martin Boyd

Folk in charge couldn’t give a flying one about fans and frankly they couldn’t run a bath. As an aside if it’s “ the great Scottish run” why are they running round a City why not around a nice bit of Scottish countryside.

David Campbell

I hate Sunday football just doesn't feel the same.

Max Todd

Sunday football has been being played for 30+ years…. It’s the evening bit that’s new… and not good.

Ross

Any update on the euro squad submission or did we forget to submit one ? 😂

Stephen Miller

Just play the Saturday 3pm, less recovery time from the EL fixture but it is what it is. Dust off and light training Friday then smash them.

Charlie Nicolson

Hi David, do you have a link to the Černý interview please?

Richard Baird

We definitely need somebody like Barry Ferguson in the dressing room to install a bit of fight and get across to them what it means to wear the shirt.

stephen

David, has the manager ever commented on Lovelace at all? I know he's still young but he was getting some game time prior to his injury and Millwall clearly rated him. Just seems to have gone very quiet on him.

Graham Roy

Only if we want our team talks appearing on the Record website daily! Loved him as a player but a shadow of his former self now!

Luke

Danilo and matondo out of e.l squad. Both have been a waste of money. Hopefully igamane kicks on. We really need some more home grown players.

James McSween

See with the leadership group of Tav Balogun Souttar and Butland being as weak as piss. Would it not be beneficial to the team to get John Fleck and Ryan Jack into end of season on short term deals? I know it’s scrapping the barrel 😳 We could rotate both them in domestic games as I know they have fitness issues but the have loads of experience that we seem to lack. Then with Danilo injured again we should be trying to get a striker in as a free transfer. I know it will increase wage bill but if we don’t we might not finish 2nd never mind try to win league.

David_Davy_Dave

Said elsewhere, PC needs to win the next old firm game. That’s not me saying he should or will be sacked if he doesn’t. It’s more I can’t see any route to success for him from where we currently are that doesn’t involve winning the next old firm game

Brian Rae

I've just saw the photos of Danilo at the airport. It's a real shame for him. What I can't get my head around is why haven't the club sent someone with him to help instead of him carrying around a big sports bag and a trolley case whilst in a full leg brace? A 6m striker on his way for another operation and he's left to fend for himself like a Sunday league player. I'm genuinely fucking sick of the moronic, amateur decisions made at the club.

Heart and Hand

No Danilo and Matondo in EL squad. Danilo out for a month.

Graeme Guthrie

They don't care about Rangers playing at 8pm on a Sunday because GCC look at Rangers fans as scum and don't give a toss for our convenience or wellbeing.

Alastair McGeoch

Agree with the comments around the mentality of the squad. I think it was Warburtons second Old Firm (his 1st at Ibrox) and we were 1-0 against them and playing well and I think after 30/40 mins Scott Brown decided to just smash one of our players and take the yellow card. That triggered a response from Celtic who immediately went up a gear or two and won 2-1. I think it’s been obvious in the recent old firms younger/newer players have been looking for help and Tavernier has been too busy losing his own battle with Maeda, Goldson not winning his battles, Lundstrum taking a red or hiding with the centre backs and Barasic sitting down at the back post it’s no wonder there is scar tissue. It won’t change until we have a change in Captain.

Derek Stevenson

St Johnstone want us at Perth in December on a shitty pitch.

Ewan White

Why was there a home game scheduled for same weekend as the great scottsih run when it was clear there was a good chance we would be moved to the Sunday due to Europa League? I'm sure most other leagues have the sense to give teams an away fixture in this scenario. Can't see this happening to the likes of Newcastle.

David Innes

Totally agree - if he doesn’t win that one he’ll be a dead man walking regardless of any other signs of progress

Alexander Bruce Crombie

Another player comes out to say how they’re gonna try and do better. They’ve been saying it for years, nothing changes.

8luenose1872

I just hope clement doesn't punish him for saying that, it honestly wouldn't surprise me as it seems the type of thing he will do.

Graeme McLeod

Ryan Jack? Why? He was part of the leadership group before and after Gerrard - he was "as weak as piss" as the rest of them. Plus he's made of papier-mâché. Baffling how Jack gets a pass from some Rangers fans. If Tav, Goldson etc were losers then so was he. Jack is where he belongs now doing podcasts with the tims at Off The Ball, gladly putting the boot into former managers and teammates.

Gordon Watson

I want Clement to do well but how’s he meant to do that with sub-standard players, no money and shite results. It’s fair to suggest as soon as one of our players does shine, he’ll be sold and we’re back to square one anyway.

James Anderson

It will have been Craig Levien with his big petted lip

Thanks for the shout out David! I was indeed front row at the Gazza show in Leicester Square. Fav bit was the highlight reel and when Gazza scored against Scotland, everyone booed but you heard Gazza backstage shout “Yaay!”…sums the legend up I reckon. Amazing show too, think you and the H&H gang are awesome, keep the amazing work! Hopefully the Gers will start to do so on the pitch soon too! 💙🤞
