John Smith

I first knew him as Whistler from Blade. I can’t believe we lost Kris and the legendary John Ashton within hours 😢

Bixby Snyder

It was a stonewall penalty that we wouldn’t get at 0-0 at the Chamber.

SC81

Some of the chat about the manger being embarrassing in his press conference is out of order. I think it was a penalty but he is allowed to explain why he didn't think it was a penalty.

Pedro

Nice touch with todays song choice

Leslie White

David healthily disagree with the penalty, one, Soutar is fractionally less than a meter from the kick of the ball he’s falling and off balance yet tries to bring his arm into his chest. In such a short space what’s he supposed to do? Two, Jack Butland was behind Soutar, it was more likely that he would have saved it. Now in the other hand if it had been a certain team from the East End would Var and Walsh given it, conspiracy theory?

Buff Richardson

Thought Butland ,Barron and Jefte done ok , If Dessers scores the header the game looks totally different, looking forward to Thursday, bring it on...

R. Jenkins

Thanks for today’s song. A few years back he played Hamilton Town House as a warm up for Celtic Connections. I actually thought it must be a con, Kristofferson playing a town hall wasn’t possible, but it wasn’t- there he was playing to a couple of hundred folk. One of my song writing heroes.

Heart and Hand

Nah, not at pace it was going. Goal all the way. And be honest - if it had been at other end do you want it as a pen? I do.

David Baillie

Very valid comments on inward investment and David going all General Sir Anthony Cecil Hogmanay Mellchett on us and poo pooing the poo poo. 👏😂

Damien Stubbs

Thanks for immediately clarifying “baz” David. Surely not the only one that for a second thought who tf is Baz 😂

Just to let you know that yesterday I was one on HUNDREDS of fans who couldn't get into Ibrox an hour before kick-off due to Smartcards that the club had not activated. Remember, this was our 1st time at Ibrox using our cards this season. I had to join a queue hundreds of yards long to get to the ticket office. After half an hour we were still 20 yards short of the entrance when a supervising steward shouted "Anyone going to Govan stand?" A bunch of us followed him to an exit where he let us in. Hundreds of fans still standing in queue, with 10 minutes to kick-off. Emailed ticket office yesterday. No reply yet. No mention of this shambles on radio, in press or even H n H. Can you find out what happened yesterday from the club? Absolute disgrace that hundreds if not thousands, of Smartcards not activated by the end of Sept. What is going on in that office? Also told them I haven't received my email QR code for Lyon game. Talk about incompetent! Please don't let them away with this following the stadium fiasco.

Graham Roy

I don’t think it’s a stonewall penalty as the manager has highlighted. I personally think it was a penalty but can understand why others say it isn’t. However I am happy the manager has called it out as we need to box clever and put pressure on refs!

Leslie White

I said it at the time this rule would be a minefield players with a brain only have to aim a ball at an arm/limb. Would I be screaming for a penalty yes, initially on VAR reflection I would have to accept it.

Alex Oliver

Thanks for the Psycholo-Gers plug 🫡🫡

Steve Stewart

What time do they players need to be at Ibrox before a match? Do they need to meet before? Most of the time it looks like they arrive in their own cars. Surely they’re able to get up at 8am for a 10am arrival at Ibrox

Heart and Hand

Bob, the club can’t get the Ticket Office to do what it tells them so I certainly wouldn’t be able to!

Tom McDavid

Plenty of us in the Copland Rear now have inferior and in some cases seriously restricted views to what we previously had.

Doug Young

Souttar has been good recently, but for all the crap Raskin seems to be getting, he bailed Souttar out brilliantly when he gave the ball away first half. Propper starting to really settle too. Middle to front is where we're struggling a wee bit and I do think Diomande makes a difference there. Barron is terrific in the holding role but his balls forward quite often go adrift; looking too much for that perfect through ball. Not a major criticism, as the more he tries, the better he'll become.

Heart and Hand

Yeah, of course and they were all there. But the point is that less recovery time leads to tiredness. We as fans are never going to like it due to their wages but the reality is that being on x amount per week doesn’t stop you feeling tired if you’re tired. For me it’s not physical, it was mental tiredness as the manager said - not doing things they way we would expect (and did on Thursday). But it’s a common complaint from elite level sides so as a layman I just have to accept it.

Tom McDavid

Scheduling shambles by the SWPL once again. I’m missing my granddaughter playing on the pitch at halftime at Broadwood.

Russ

Tbh on the women's and the growth in Scotland - watching the UCL qualifiers convinced me that the club have to bite the bullet and try and join the WSL. Half the league being part time kills us when it comes to playing in Europe. I'm England based though so I'd understand if the Scottish Rangers support balk at the idea.

Russ

Also just on our league and it's putrid income - I've always said the Atlantic league is a goer and we should pursue it. Pretty sure Ceferin gave it the green light but Celtic pulled out.

There one reason and one reason only for the womans game being on thursday.......to help that lot out with none of our fans there to cheer the women on. I hope they all know that and go out and put even more into that game.

Graham Jones

I’m with you on Soutar, because I had decided he wasn’t good enough. I think a run in the wider has helped him, but I also do think he has a better type of defender beside him. The defence is looking better balanced now, no matter which full back pairing they pick, because the core of the defence is solid now. That will be tested severely on Thursday against a much better side. In fact, Lyon are probably the best side we’ll have faced this season, barring none. I’m less pessimistic about the future of football than you, because I do now think we’ll see Rangers more likely play in a European League proper, not the kid on leagues we play under UEFA right now. i also don’t think that UEFA will have much say in the future, because they’re starting to butt heads with governments, and if push comes to shove a government of a country will do all sorts of things to a bunch of gangsters in Switzerland. I think the EPL has just about reached its maximum, and it may even slide back a bit in stature and size. Scotland is being held back by the people making the decisions, nothing else. Our game has been suppressed for years by the lack of ambition from its powerbrokers. There is no can-do attitude in Scottish football, because the minnions running the game don’t believe they can survive without Sky Sports. The fact is if you know how to build things then you can run your own sports network, and licence out your pictures around the globe. It’s just a lack of talent and ambition that prevents us from growing the exposure to the game. It might also help if some clubs invested more in better facilities as stadiums, so kudos to the club for leading the way again in how disabled people should be provided for in a stadium. I believe you can tell the character of a club by how they treat their supporters and by the type of services they provide for them. I also like to think they are decent people running our club, which is born out by the new facilities they have built. Just remember that there are two stands still to build at the club, unless they have had a change of plan there. I just think when you see the transformation those facilities will have on peoples experience at the football then it would be worth it to see the rest of the work done.

Steve Stewart

I get that, I just struggle with “if the kick off was 3pm” we’d see a higher standard. If it’s mental, how does 3 hours later help you. As you say, I’m not an elite athlete (nor even an athlete these days!)

Chris Scott

Managers explain why they disagree with decisions every week whilst sitting on their backside and not making a show of themselves.

SC81

Your threshold for "making a show of themselves" clearly differs from mine.

Ross Stirling

The investment from another club is a great question. I was looking into it and the amount of EPL clubs who's owners have some kind of affiliation or part ownership of another club is far greater than I thought. Like you say, if there's good ideas then why not, but knowing our luck it would be Chelsea, the only club in the world run worse than us

keith wright

Spot on David, I thought it was a penalty too, you can see him raise his arm slightly also, If it was the other way around I'd be screaming for a penalty to Rangers!

Dave Fleming

Call me a conspiracy theorist, but could the SPFL (who run the SWPL) have scheduled the women’s Old Firm game for Thursday to remove our home supporter advantage?

Campbell Maclennan

Was there any mention on Raskin and McCausland. Both hooked at HT and certainly I don't think it was deserved. Also then having Dowell in there we lost all control of the game.

Bob Keith

I'm usually one to argue against the womens team kowtowing around the mens team but normally that's after the men have been rescheduled to a Sunday. This time though we've got a flagship home match being played at a highly irregular time in a fixture that the green brigade previously tried to highjack (bravely while the mens team were up in Perth). They've made things difficult for almost everyone here.
