Andy & Alan I’ll say it again. You 2 need your own show on the network 👏

Stewart McKee

See the point about travelling at night and getting back at 2am, why didn’t we just stay the night in Sweden and travel home the next day? Could we not have organised a training session over there before we flew back or even fly back and straight to the training centre for a session? Surely we only have ourselves to blame for not getting our travelling plans right?

Alan Weir

Andy - my favourite podder - looking up the meaning of “insagacity” was a lovely moment…ya big diddy!

Kirk Guthrie

Alan, Andy and David? What a dream team. Great to hear Alan again!

Cerny needs to be put on a weights programme, because it’s his upper body strength that is an issue. Mark Hateley had to build up his upper body strength when he first came to Rangers, and it stopped him from getting shoved off the ball. I even remember Steven Naismith being put on a weights programme for the same reasons. There are lots of examples of this, and I’d be surprised if this hasn’t been licked up by the coaching staff one the performance staff.

Im finding H&H pods are more interesting than the games more often than not

Gavin Sullivan

Cerny is laughably 1 footed. My concern is when you have a player like Cerny who needs to cut inside all the time, you need a full back capable of over lapping consistently. Something Tavs isn't able to do anymore.

Good pod guys. An acknowledgment that Sunday wasn’t good enough but also no panty wetting about it. There’s going to be plenty more games like that this season, particularly after European games when we don’t have the depth to rotate. But with injuries and the amount of games I’m not sure the manager really has a choice. I agree that the Souttar handball was a penalty but I’m also glad to see the manager highlight the inconsistency after the game. Couldn’t care less if people find it embarrassing or the other side laugh at us. We’ve laughed at them doing it for years and years and it hasn’t stopped them. Then they are the ones laughing when we get legitimate goals chopped off in almost every OF game

Alan Baxter

Dont hear much of Hoggy on the pods anymore

Another cracking podcast, but could have great when it was suggested that Lawrence would be one of our best players this year. What a state of affairs.

Derek Stevenson

Great podcast. Totally agree on Kasanwirjo. I’m trying to just judge Rangers game by game just now, but we’re Rangers so you do think ahead, surely in games where we need to concern ourselves more with defence ie UEL & Them we have to think of Kasanwirjo doing a job in central or right side of defence?

Douglas Innes

Listen back to this podcast and the same thing jumps out ,lack of pace in players and lack of pace in our style of play ...... then there's the lack of physicality in players

Derek Stevenson

Agree. I’ll be insular and focus on January v Them as we need domestic consistency AND we need to find a win v Them. Kasanwirjo for me either gives a new defender than Tav v Maeda. Or gives one in a back three that is intelligent enough to step out v the Kyogo move of going deep that hurts us too often. Hopefully we find a way but on top of that Kasanwirjo looks to me to be deserving of more minutes in the meantime.

Raskin, not great. However replacing him with Dowell was utterly mad and could he easily cost us the points. Also watch Tav for the Gayle miss, which was a sitter, is dreadful marking once again from Tav. That aside, just delighted we got the 3 points...!!

Douglas Innes

Yes if we have pace up top ala Lovenkrands , so we're 5-3-1-1 if the fullbacks can push on when we have the ball 3-5-1-1

Fantastic pod guys I'm fairly sanguine🤫 regarding Sunday. As I've said before we are very light for cover. Although Malmo was a great result and a good performance I am not seeing Clements vision of pace and power. The only players I've seen with power appear to be Sterling and Nana with Igamane the sole possessor of both. Given the players were hammered during pre season im just not seeing the rewards for that so far. Its still early in the season so hopefully we ramp it up and soon.

Stephen A

Have to pick up on a common error I'm seeing over the penalty. PC was clear in that the refs have said these types of handballs would not be penalties before the start of the season in meetings with the clubs.

The new euro league set up yes we get 8 games but surely the carrot is finish higher 24th and that secures 10 games ........ and if a poor performance Vs Hibs is in the middle of 2 good euro performances that will have been worth it
