March 2018 looked like it could be a big month for Gers and a thumping cup win against Falkirk set us up nicely for it. However, a narrow Old Firm loss proceeded a complete collapse as Graeme Murty's hopes of securing the job ended.

Join Dave, Stuart, Rob and David as they continue to chart Murty's time as manager.

I thought he said the reasons for the podcast’s delay was “my wife died”. Realised it was ‘wi-fi”.

I went to Ibrox that day and it was the first time since Admin that I felt genuine hope. I was convinced that we were winning that game and heading towards the title after the forthcoming Celtic collapse. Despite the many humiliations to follow, I am not sure I have ever been as down after an Old Firm

Stewart Thomson

Yeah I remember feeling the exact same post match - sick as a dog. Every defeat against them post admin had a feeling of inevitablity about it that sort of blunted any disappointment. Was supremely confident this day. Easy with hindsight if you look at both squads on paper, they were far stronger, but it was an opportunity wasted that day no question.

Greg

That sniveling, pathetic, zip chewing, petted lip coward murty may not have got the managers job full time but he did win the "man of the year" award.

Graham Roy

The Beale defeat last season was the closest I felt to this one! Think that day I accepted that murty wasn’t up to the job and we needed a proper manager!

Ross

That game against Celtic was my 18th birthday,a truly awful day🤣

Sore on your Birthday David Edgar. We lost narrowly to them at Ibrox one time when my Birthday was the next day. My Bro in law thought it was funny to text me for a wind up, blaming his mate for taking his phone. Funnily enough it was said Bro in laws Birthday yesterday. I hope he enjoyed it 🟡⚫️

Craig Fryatt

The only good thing to come from that OF game was after watching it followed by lunch with my god awful in laws. My mindset was fuck this life as I exited my toxic marriage that evening and never looked back.

Niall MacKay

Makes you appreciate the mental strength of the current team and manager, if nothing else. They've received more criticism and hysteria than Murty's mob and they are plugging away.

Greg

It will never leave me, for some reason he still annoys me these years later, its because he believed his own hype saying he wanted the job then he pretty much had a breakdown and as was mentioned he ended up going in a huff as if he never wanted it and was a victim ,he's just above mcdowall for me as the absolute worst in my life time.

Dougie

My birthdays on the 4th of July so I’ll just leave it there!!

Ross Stewart

Genuinely thought after boyata got sent off that we’re winning the league. We were on a good run and full of confidence and we’d be able to keep pressuring that Mon into mistakes at other grounds. Fucked it in the space of 30 minutes mind you

Jack Hutchinson

That 5 year plan line was a fuckin doozy

Angus Mackay

My birthday falls on Bert Konterman day , boom 2-1 👌 , certainly the most memorable one

Paul Dunnachie

My birthday was the 2005 Helicopter Sunday… although we had booked a holiday months earlier and when we took off, Celtic were winning and on top. Checked the scores when we got to the apartment and after a few frantic phone calls it was party time!
