Gers get the points thanks to Vaclav Cerny’s double.

Gutted for Hagi. Really think him and Prince Nedim can be brilliant together

Until we get a striker better than Dessers we aren’t doing anything , he had two chances tonight which a half decent striker would have buried and put us on easy street. Good performance from Cerny and good to see Hagi back.

So Var Intervenes when it's a Rangers player for getting sent off but they don't Intervene when Dessers gets his shirt pulled in the first half and the ref fucking sees it and does nothing, fucking had it with Scottish Football.

Pleased for Cerny to get the two goals, first one was excellent, cracking pass from Hagi set up second. Dickinson is a woeful referee. PS found a guys ST on PRW after game, Brian Craig, if he’s on here or anyone knows him let me know I’ll post it out to him, or hand it into ticket office during the week.

Regardless of wither Hagi should have been sent off or not we should be focusing more on why both Ref and VAR failed to spot a blatant shirt pull on Dessers in the box not patting them on the back and saying fair enough it was a sending off 🤷🏻‍♂️

You dont get any extra points for style. A win and a boost for many of the players, esp Cerny. Slightly distracted back the background noise which sounds exactly the the spaceships from the 1936 Flash Gordon series - was this the replacement transport this evening?

Not excusing the red, it was 100% a red. However as a side note, if it had been a few inches higher he'd have had a broken leg due to wearing shinpads for a 2 year old. It's gonna take a terrible career ending injury before players are forced to wear proper shinpads. IMO Rangers should be forcing players to wear proper shinpads, enough of this "Grealish Style" pads. At the end of the day the players are "assets" and should be instructed to wear proper pads, and wear them properly.

I thought Hagi was unlucky just with the way both players were sort of changing direction but it’s 100% a red card. The ref really was awful last night. The rule around shirt pulling is applied so inconsistently that it feels like just sheer luck whether anyone decides to take a look at them. I thought VAR was supposed to be watching specifically for shirt pulling in the box. Anyway, 3 points and on we go, hopefully some guys back from injury after the break but that doesn’t seem too likely giving managers comments.

The absolute obsession with wingers coupled to the ones we have been of low quality will costs us dearly I think. Cherry has done very little since arriving and for many the players being new to the team seems to automatically make them better, my contention would be that we have demonstrated over a number of years (and mangers) we have a knack of brining in people who are bright and sharp then quickly deskilling them. Diomande seems lost at the moment, a boy who started really well but now is really struggling for form. I like the boy and he has some great attributes but instead of brining guys in and bringing them on we seem to identify a player who has talent, they come in and break our dirge mould for a bit then we drag them down instead of helping them kick on. It’s a worrying trend and I would love to know what actual coaching is being done with players as I dont believe we see guys svelte and get better, it seems the opposite. Positives are Jefte, Barron, Nanan, look like excellent additions, Souttar and Propper are building understanding game by game, across the field relationships are forming. I didn’t think Raskin did much, thought Cherry bar his goals was really poor and McAusland was pretty dire, if he wasnt from NI I suspect he gets far more flak as the quality just isnt there. Up front you can swap any striker in or out and the lack of good quality service will tell on them. Dessers didn’t play particularly well or badly, neither did Igmane but in a game you have 70% plus possession and 30+ shots you need to be making far better chances and taking more. I dont believe this system works and the quicker we see 2 up front domestically the better. I find it really difficult to get and stay excited for the weary we are playing, you get odd flashes of quality but I suspect we have all lowered our levels and expectations so that being average is seen as good now. Scoring is so laboured for us or requires one guy to do it all solo, we rarely build and substation pressure or hem teams in and the system hamstrings us for me. By no means a bad game and a few were excellent, Jefte again MOTM for me, but it’s 2-0 against a team really struggling who stayed in the game against us. We need to put the fear into teams more but I think our languid style, our desperation to go wide and the lack of bodies in the box or those who willing to shoot from out with to any great degree doesnt bode well.

Concern is the manager seems a bit of a fundementalist. Just don’t currently believe in his vision and we aren’t entertaining other than in brief flashes. Need something to click fast or something has to change.
