Simple one for me. For any position in the side. Play the best option. Nana is a faster, more athletic and aggressive option. Play him.

John Smith

Gazza must be one of the most genuine human beings there is. I love that story when he swapped his brand new Jaguar in a lay by with the young couple that admired it. Drove off in their wreck to his Loch Lomond hotel. They thought they’d have to return it until they got the logbook in the post. What a man

Thanks for sharing your experience with depression David, and thanks Cammy for helping fundraise and drawing attention to mental health.

Everyone has been “in the building” long enough now to “learn the story” We need to stop babying these guys, Kasanwirjo is ready to play and is quite clearly a better option than Tavernier at this moment in time. Could give us the ability to build up in a back 3 as well as he could sit narrow on the right and allow Jefte to push on and be the width on the left whilst we miss natural wingers out there. Would put less pressure on the likes Barron to constantly drop deep as well The next month is massive for Clement, needs to get his best team on the park

There’s the story of Daniel levy buying modric and Zagreb asked for 5 spurs tops , when levy paid the 23 million fee he deducted the price of 5 strips from the fee!

Thanks David. I’m a massive fan of Tav but I really want to see Nana phased in ASAP. He seems to me to be exactly the kind of player we need in terms of shoring things up. I didn’t realise we have an option - I hope it’s more water to might than the Ross Wilson getting his pants pulled down by Bayern variant. 🙄💀 Also, whilst I can see that the manager would value Tav’s experience in such a relatively young side, i also feel it would help some people accept more that this is a new side. A lot of people still talk about it as if it’s a continuation, whereas really a revolution has begun in terms of squad make up.

What's Neil Murray at these days ? I remember there being a lot of storys about him doing a degree whilst playing. Fairly sure it was business/finance related

I’m pretty certain that Gazza & spurs story is nonsense. He’s been quoted in the past saying any time he’s wanted tickets he’s messaged Gary Mabbutt and been sorted no issues

Good to see Koppen talking about his remit and what the plan is with recruitment. We've wanted to hear more about a plan from the club and he's fronted up - read in the RR that he was surprised by what he's walked into so it'll take time but hopefully he can create something tangible for us.

Russ

He supposedly oversaw putting in place our own, bespoke in-house data/scouting model. Mad to think we didn't have that already! As I said, it'll take a few years to really see the benefits of this - hopefully the likes of Jefte, Igamane and Dio are the start!

Thank you for speaking about depression David, today marks the 2nd anniversary of my dear brother succumbing to his demons, I had no idea he was feeling suicidal and just wish he had opened up to me or been able to find the help he so desperately needed. Well done to Cammy for supporting such a worthwhile cause.

And this is what rips my knitting manager after manager picking players on status rather than form. We all saw nana play a blinder in Malmo he has looked very assured physical pacy and unfazed in his cameos thats 3 of 4 attributes Clement wants in his side how many is Tav hitting just now. To add an old cliche its a no brainer get the boy in the team

@bluebeans

Recall Advocaat saying he wanted to play a young Ferguson in different positions so he could see the pitch from all positions - it’s a point that always stuck with me as so valid

Andy Gray

As always David, massive respect for speaking about issues / experiences that many people wouldn’t feel comfortable doing. If what you say helps one other person etc…

As a volunteer with Samaritans can I just remind everyone that you’re never alone anytime you need someone to listen please call 116-123. For those that can give anything, please do so.

I’m a bit slow catching up on my pods this week. Thanks for raising mental health again. Hearing it first hand is so powerful, it totally humanises something which a lot of us aren’t able. We are all so busy trying to get on top in life. Great podding as always and even better looking after our own 👍.
