Robin Propper simply cannot be trusted to be a starting centre half. Who ok’ed this signing as passing the eyesight test? 😂

Tolmie

Well done Cyril, 👏👏👏

David Innes

We need to try and punt him back to Holland in January- thankfully it was a low transfer fee

Craig Murray

Its papering over the cracks , we all know what's coming, that first half performance today was abysmal.

Gary Shaw

Kicking the can down the road here…..Only getting over the line due to St Mirren tiring….As for Propper, seen it in his first game…Plays like a 17yo finding his way in the game with no experience…absolutely gash

David Hanlon

Someone please learn propper how to defend. Week as _ _ _ _

Jim Milne

Propper makes Bert Konterman look like prime Franco Baresi.

Bob MacCallum

Can't believe you guys are so harsh on Igamane. He got 45 minutes in a Gers team playing pathetically but you all seem to have decided it was " too soon" for him to have started. He was far from the worst in that 1st half. Diomande was getting the crowd annoyed with his every touch, goal apart. Ditto comments on Tav who came on and showed why most of us want rid of him - sloppy misplaced passes, giving the ball away, back-passing as usual, aimless "crosses", a lot of pointing.

Bob MacCallum

I was at the game, Colin but remind me how Tav was partly responsible for the 2nd goal.

Ray

The sheep will take 3 -4 off us on Wednesday. We are rotten

Colin

I’m surprised everyone around you in the Sandy Jardine rear didn’t remind you. They tell you everything else seemingly. Tav’s presence off the bench galvanised the team, we looked much more attacking and probing with him there. Dare I say it he acted like a captain when he came on. There’s a lot more involved in goals and victories than the one guy that scored them Bob. I mean if it was all about just the goal you would have adored Dessers the last 18 months no? Colin

Greg

Good on you Colin, fight back! You take it from all quarters.

Bob MacCallum

You still haven't told me how Tav helped create that winner. Must have been his sheer presence on the pitch!

Fraser Wells

Hopefully the back four who finished the game today will start Wednesday. I’ve seen 30 minutes Kasanwirjo at centre half and know I’d have him over Propper every day of the week

Jim McCutcheon

a win but in a poor manner again, things don't seem to be improving in the league we are struggling it looks like we have reached a level of no confidence and it's from the top down 🤷‍♂️, thanks guys hard to find positives

Simon H&H

Yeah him or Sterling in there would be better. Propper is prime for a loan move out back to Holland in the window. Didnt think we’d see a worse cb than Davies, but we found him 😂

David Innes

Just checked the betting odds for Wednesday and we are favourites. Not sure how they’ve worked that one out!

Neil Shepherd

Tav certainly made a difference but again it was another poor display. Propper was awful and didn’t Leon was much better in 1st half. Igamane not ready but we have no other options.

Kenny Park

Hi lads. Was quite happy with the changes today pre-match, think most would possibly agree. I think it’s the system in SPFL right at the moment. It needs to change but probabaly won’t. WATP.

JimGLW

Propper giving us a Halloween show early. He's shocking. Hard to believe this is part of the transition and plan. Another really, really bad performance. But we won. So I'll take that over the bad performances where we don’t.

Ryan Jardine

Coming from the harshest and most negative guy on here. 😂 give it a break mate

Doogz

Whoever scouted Propper needs hunted, guy is a total bombscare and just cannot handle the physical nature of the game here. Doubt very much Clement plays him on Wednesday, only bright spark was seeing Raskin performing well and getting 90 mins under his belt. Very poor team performance against a poor St Mirren team.

Bob MacCallum

Negative? Saying the obvious! If we had a good team there would be no negativity at Ibrox right now. I stood up for poor Igamane who was being slated by Colin and co. Given 45 minutes with his team-mates playing like schoolboys, no service, no support, nowhere near the worst guy in that team but Colin slags him. As for Dessers M of the M. Creates winning goal and stumbled around as per usual. The blindspot some people on here re him is worrying. If they can't see we need a proper striker, we are doomed - and deserve to be if our standards have fallen so low.

Gary Shaw

Can harp on about tactics/systems all day,the bottom line is that this group of players are severely lacking in the basics needed to even resemble a footballer….no pace , no power , no physicality, struggle to pass to each other and no character…..none of that changes wether it’s 2,3 or 5 upfront.

Alan Baxter

Rangers look like they are trying to get football stopped as an entertainment. Dull and boring. How we got so bad i can’t quite work out.

Alexander Bruce Crombie

Well said Colin , I can’t talk for everybody but you summed up my thoughts perfectly. While I was happy enough on Thursday I knew a performance like this would come and don’t give me we got the 3 points, eventually with performances like this- we won’t

Colin MacRitchie

I think Clement should consider Cerny up front through the middle in place of Dessers/Igamane. McAusland on the right with Sterling as backup

Greg

So you are giving dessers credit for changing the game and creating the winning goal?

Scott Stewart

Shared some of these thoughts in the executive pod! We are certainly weaker without tav and dessers . Igname at this time appears to be better as an impact player maybe coming in around the 60 min mark. Tav legs aren’t what they used to be , but we miss Tavs quality big time . Wr at this time is nowhere near the quality of tav. Overall terrible performance, robin proper deary deary me! Bullied and battered al day. We also missed Lawrence and his flair . Diomande Raskin and Barron didn’t work today

Spoon

Not convinced Cerny was as good as others, wingers are moments players and when they score goals they rightly get praise however overall I’m not convinced by him. Clearly at his peak he has talent, not sure he does it enough or contributes that much defensively, he just isnt a guy I really like. Loan guys don’t excite me as a rule and not sure that bringing him in at the expense of giving McAusland much needed games is particularly useful to our own asset. Appreciate others may disagree but not a huge difference in the two for me. McAusland I think gets slack due to his nationality and background, he might make it but as it stands the jury is out, what we definitely need to do however is play the boy to find out. He is drifting towards a point where his games v age ratio is going to be a problem. It’s time to actually play young guys and let them hone their trade or move them on, season loans getting the most precious commodity we have, game time, just won’t ever be a good thing for me.

Brett

Clement has to seriously look at that system/shape/tactic/philosophy or whatever he thinks he is implementing and change it. Not sure the players actually understand it or it plays to their strengths at all. I think we should also just keep playing Igamane and let him learn in the job as he can only get better. Might be frustrating but we know exactly what the alternative is already.

Steven Lees

Just worth noting Gogic is only 30, Propper is 31, I know who I’d prefer in the starting line up! Gogic is limited but no nonsense type of defender we need.

Bob MacCallum

I did BUT having seen it again on tv, he was lucky. As he was about to cut it back the defender put his foot between Dessers' boot and the ball to block it so he ended up kicking the opponent's boot that sent the ball to Cerny. Still, who cares? At least SOMEBODY, for once, actually got to the bye-line. Can't remember Tav ever doing that in 9 years.

David Kiltie

You mention St Mirren tiring but their last game was 8 days earlier, whereas we had a European tie on Thursday night.

Gary Shaw

Traditionally ourselves and Celtic have always been fitter than everyone else domestically and we’re also used to the midweek games….We scraped by a dug shite St Mirren team who had been spanked their last few games (a 4-0 doing off the bottom of the league team who are also in Europe)…..St Mirren pressed harder and better than us hence the energy levels dropped….

Martin Sutherland

Dessers and Tav turning up after being dropped isn’t a good look.
