Sounds like a pond full of frogs in your throat. It was VERY evident the team improved when Sterling & a half fit Danilo come on & can only hope the manager seems this too but I honestly think he'll think "f*ck them, I know better"

I would love you to be correct about him seeing Dessers for what he is. But ultimately that goal will vindicate his decision to play him as the manager is stubborn. Can't see him being dropped.

Spot on David. Growing number of fans round me in west stand were booing every touch from Tav as the game went on. I hate to see it but it’s obvious his confidence and fitness is gone. Keep him as club captain and reduce games played, rotate armband if needed. I’m not sure butland as captain is the answer either. Couldn’t see the win at half time but we got there I guess.

Hope you feel better soon David, just in time for the David and Todd show. As for the match,Tav was Motherwell’s best player today. Dessers and Tav should be no where near our starting 11 it’s like playing with 9 men. Tav has been a good servant to the club but this is on the manager and it’s unfair on Tav as of course he thinks he can do a job for us. Dessers has been done to death and I wouldn’t start him for our B team. Find a buyer in January please 🙏. Get well soon!

Agree with everything you've said David although I just can't see him changing it. It's been glaringly obvious for ages so I just can't see him doing it now. Very frustrating when mostly everyone is in agreement on something except the manager.

Check my reply to your last comment Greg. I was talking about the team not the club. And I haven’t changed my opinion in that regard. I’ve got no enthusiasm whatsoever for this current side. That why I’m hoping for significant change sooner rather than later to put things right

Seems to me that some of the players are as fed up with Tav and Dessers as we are. So many times Raskin looking for Tav to move forward and he wouldnt/didnt. And as for Dessers they know he wont hold it in so try and avoid using him!

100% agree with your analysis. The only thing I'm going to say is fans have short memories regarding Tav. This guy has single handedly grabbed games by the scruff of the neck and pulled us out many a hole. On the flip side he has cost us many a game also but doesn't deserve to be abused. He is a hindrance now and for the sake of the team he needs taken out along with our waste of space centre. 6 weeks to get Danilo up to speed and ill be a lot more happier going into the final.

Absolutely spot on David. My thoughts entirely. Tav and Dessers should have been offloaded with Lawrence, Dowell and Matondo in the summer. If the manager perseveres with them he deserves everything that will surely come his way. You could see the team got a lift as soon as they were replaced. If we can see it why doesn’t Clement? Get well soon. 👏

Get well soon David. The manager has to start tge team that finished the game he must know he’s in the last chance saloon, Tav Lawrence Dessers out, be brave and start making the big calls, these guys have had their time, it’s over.

A great servant, a poor onfield captain beyond his important goals and completely overplayed (55 + games per last three seasons is neligent management) to his detriment and now ours but overall a very good Rangers player but the time is up. I don't understand how this is so difficult for PC.

Hope you feel better tomorrow David. Can’t disagree with anything you said. It’s actually a shame watching tav for us just now as he is clearly finished and the more he plays the more he keeps getting exposed. Practically every goal we loose he has some involvement in it. His whole body language looks like he’s carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders and I think he knows deep down he’s the problem. As for dessers I’m done with him, probably the most frustrating striker ever to pull on our jersey. Shouldn’t kick another ball for us and punted in January.

Got told from a mate of mine who’s good pals with a first team player (won’t name him as it won’t help) but apparently the players don’t have faith in clement or tav and it’s causing friction in the dressing room.

James tavernier is an infiltrater. Been saying it for years . I'm no Einstein but when we play them on the 15th and he goes up against maeda I wonder how that will go ...he needs to go only then will it finally feel like a reset
