John Smith

Good afternoon people ! It’s a beautiful day 😎

LD

Well done the B team

Alan Weir

‘Song to the Siren’ - Elizabeth “Cocteau” Fraser

Stewart Robertson

I always cross my arms when a new kit comes out..............then I end up buying it. This one looks nice.

Jim Milne

The Man Who Sold the World by Nirvana is my favourite cover

Greg Cameron

Siouxsie and the Banshees - Dear Prudence

Mark Sheen

Marilyn Manson - Tainted Love

Cairo

Aye it's class. I love that it was meant to be all Unplugged but soon as it starts it's clearly no just acoustic, think they had an amp hidden in front of him by the funeral looking flowers. 😂

Jim McCutcheon

Thanks David and Cammy 👏 , the shirt is very nice one Santa might get me one if I drop massive hints 😁, hopefully get the result tomorrow

william hendrie

Joe cocker - little help from my friends is a crackin cover

Jim Milne

If Castore can read the room they'd announce that the 125th top is next season's jersey, if the contract is renewed.

Seumais Simpson

This is the third time that they have released an anniversary/additional kit that has completely blown the home kit out of the water.

Graham Hendry

My lad wears these grip socks - get with it David

Bob McMillan

New strip looks good but i wait till Jan/Feb for a more reasonable price Metallica -Whisky in the Jar is prob my favourite cover song but theres plenty decent ones

Graham Roy

Cracking choice Cammy! That’s a pod on its own? Couple of favourites GUN word up or The Beatles Twist and Shout

Grant McNeil

What is the situation with the club offering sponsorless jerseys? I fully understand the team wearing it and the exposure that gives but me lying on the couch is hardly likely to see many folk sign up to Unibet😀

Brian Rae

I've been thinking for months about what we really need, Chairman, CEO or academy head but I'm glad the club have read the room and released another irrelevant kit that will be reduced by 70% come January. Well done* *Not my true thoughts.

Neil Wilson

Metallica - Turn the Page. Jennifer Warnes - First We Take Manhattan

David Baillie

Cutting the feet off socks is as bad as wearing them over the knee or even worse cutting holes in the back. 🤯 Favourite cover; The Lemonheads, Mrs Robinson.

Seumais Simpson

I like Arcade Fire's cover of Naïve Melody, however AATW by Jimi Hendrix is the correct answer.

East Enclosure

I Heard it through the grapevine by Creedence CR, surely finest cover of all time

james whyte

Numbers like that no doubt the Clubs down south will already be on the case. Get him in and around the 1st team pronto. Make him see progress can happen here!

Cameron Bell

So do I 😂😂 But I draw the line at wearing anything over the top of them Cammy

Billy Jolly

Hendrix All Along the Watchtower Joe Cocker With a Little Help From My Friends

Jim Bennett

Jimi Hendrix.... Green's Playhouse..... Memories........

Chris Gibson

A few good covers come to mind GNR - Live and Let Die David Gilmour - Between Two Points

QB_72

Nirvana- The Man Who Stole The World (Unplugged)

Andrew Watson

Hounds of Love by The Futureheads

David Breen

Disturbed - Sound of Silence

Andy Elliot

Regarding the trip to Greece, the authorities seem to be trying as hard as possible to continue treating football supporters like criminals. It's out of order and would not be accepted for other sections of society. Regarding the Ibrox 125 strip, agree it looks a cracker but would be so much better without sponsors plastered all over it. They get enough promotion on multiple other strips. Heritage should represent heritage and that means no sponsors for me.

Robert

Placebo version of Running Up That Hill

Gareth bennie

Marvin Gaye - I Heard it Through the Grapevine

David Clapperton

I broke my ankle slipping inside my boot. Not fun. 😖

Stephen

I would even say The Passenger by Siouxsie and the Banshees is almost as good as the original too

Brett

I would give Findlay Curtis a shot simply because Hatate and Kyogo aren’t units and seem to do okay up here. Not saying he is their level but he is not much smaller than them

AndyK70

Stranglers All Day and all of the night

Spoon

Joy Division - Sister Ray

Mr Ritchie

Aztec Camera doing Van Halen's Jump

Graham Leggate

Covers - Nirvana version of man who sold the world. Cash did some other good covers, personal Jesus and One. Those might be my favs

David Clapperton

Nothing to do God I’m afraid. It was that Craig Johnstone’s fault. Him n fancy dan Predators. Prick!!!😡

Craig Kennedy

Sound of silence by disturbed best ever

Dave Fleming

Tina Turner’s version of ‘The Best’

Niall MacKay

The Pixies taking a lash at Head On. Sonic Youth covering Superstar was always on a playlist when trying to pull and then they used it in Juno and it had to stop.

Dougie Evans

Oasis - Cum on feel the noise Disturbed - sound of silence Limp Bizkit - Faith

William Hughes

Alien Ant Farm - Smooth Criminal. Lemonheads - Mrs Robinson.

Ross Hunter

Beatles version of Twist and Shout for me. Your old favourite ‘Girls just wanna have fun’ was apparently recorded as a demo by a fella first. Doubt that qualifies as a cover right enough.

Kenny Davidson

Spiritualized anyway that you want me

Falconhoof

Isaac Hayes walk on by

George Joyce

Sheryl crow - first cut is the deepest

Callum Gordon

Currently sitting in the Hilton Vilamoura listening to a guy doing an acoustic version of “ land down under “ which isn’t bad . I love rock n roll is another great cover by Joan Jett

Brian Fisher

Wonderwall by The Mike Flowers Pops.

David Welsh

Great track! It always takes me back to the Withnail and I movie.

David Clapperton

🗣️ And this weeks number 1 single, all the way from deepest darkest Ayrshire…. Here’s “I Broke My Ankle Slipping Inside My Boot” by God Hates You Coz You Hate Dogs. 🎸🎤🎵🎹🪇👨‍🎤🐶

Graham Jones

The heritage topics okay, I guess. I’m not a fan of scrolls on a football top, but each to their own as I’m not someone who wears football tops, and haven’t done since my mid twenties. I like the Jolly Roger socks, though. 🏴‍☠️

Graham Jones

I’m not a fan of covers in general, but maybe Party Fears Two by Heaven 17, just because it hits the same but done in a different way.

Andy Gray

Agree with David, that’s the best cover version, surely even Bob knows it’s Jimi’s now! As for the new kit, agree it’s a belter but given that other retro / anniversary tops haven’t had sponsors on them it’s pretty poor they’ve got to put them on it. They’re already selling 3 other kits with them on it. Like Cammy said, extra £5/£10 on price and folk would probably accept that.

Keith Kettlewell

Been for a few after work so listening to this half canned on the train…. Met with one of the best songs of all time 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

Graham McCallum

Satisfaction by Devo is better than the original

Simon

Surely the comments on this are enough of a hint to get another music pod done. Sweet Jane - Cowboy Junkies

Brian Fisher

Wicked game by London grammar. Josh Wink's (how's your evening so far) remix of Lil Louis's - French Kiss 💋

stevan castrissios

The Panathenaic Stadium is impressive. As is Athens and the Greek food. I remember a Greek making the light hearted statement, “We don’t eat until we are full, we eat until it’s all finished.”

chris smith

The Stranglers, Walk on by and Pavement’s version of the Killing Moon

Granters

Best cover version - Nirvana doing Where Did You Sleep Last Night on MTV Unplugged

Kenny Dean

I'm sure the kick off for our game against FCSB was delayed because one or two of our players had cut off too much of their socks and the ref made them go and get extra tape to get the colours better matching

Alan Shaw

Because the night by 10,000 maniacs. Natalie merchants voice exquisite

James Fell

Does anyone know if there will be a pro version of the anniversary top

Greg

Angie McMahon - knowing me knowing you(triple j like a version) Kitten - panic and from my youth me first and the gimme gimmes - Karma Chameleon
