Definitely a massive improvement on the league form a lot of positive performances from almost the hole team Connor Barron hugely impressive along with niko Nico Raskin , cd9 beautiful goal if only he could be more consistent we would huv a star striker 🙃, but I am happier now let's take this into the league starting sun 👍, thanks guys great pod again 😀

I think last nights performance from Raskin, shows what we all felt, he looks a stone lighter , a couple of yards faster, lean body mass, as strong as we have seen in the shirt . I actually feel the managers forging a renewal , in the hearts of the Rangers supporters . By the leadership he has shown in team selection, squad management , and concise public communication. He is inspiring me as a Rangers fan, on the back of that performance. The structure, and physical fitness of the squad was superior to the opponent. It was the most forthright expression of aggressive, attacking football , we have witnessed in a long time from the manager and players. There is a common thread for the dynamic performance of last night. It was playing the optimum footballers , with the optimum fitness . I hope big Phil has all the luck going forward, there is something special about this manager . In some ways he is the Cyril Dessers of management . Although that is likely a tad unfair 🤣

Comparing Propper with Davies is lazy and unfair. He’s lightweight in upper body strength which can be fixed( just ask Mark Hateley). If he’s still the same by the end of the season then you look to move him on. He still has a chance though, and players are being judges wrongly. The turnover of players has left us inconsistent, but the disruptive nature of the summer business led to a poor transition for the football department. It’s hard to watch at times but there are reasons still for that.

Am I losing it? You are the 2nd podder to claim Igamane was booked for kicking the ball away. In my memory, he picked the ball up and threw it gently back about 3 feet to where the free kick should have been taken. The ref's harshest decision of the game, especially when you consider what he'd let go previously.

Barron and Raskin the difference. Need to start giving some minutes to the understudies though as if one gets injured or suspended we’ve no depth there - Nsio and Rice should be getting some game time.

I think Lawrence having a purple patch is stretching it a bit.

There is no way we are bringing in a 4th striker for 1 slot in Januray. Unless we can move on Desssers or Danilo (hardly likely to be a queue) then we can not justify another striker on the books. The blame lies with the last recruitment "structure" that spent over £10m on the pair of them.

It wasn’t a bloody sitter first half ff’s . Shankland missed a sitter 2 mins in against that German team now that was a bad miss. His first miss when he broke away was a worse miss as he didn’t hit the target.
