Forgetting things with age is more short term recollection than longer ago for me. For example, I can vividly remember the first Rangers v Motherwell semi final at Hampden I attended, and it was 48 years ago. While I'm struggling to remember the goals I saw us score in the semi final a fortnight ago!

Clement " having nobody above him" should not mean that he can't see Dessers is a dud, the formation is wrong, the fitness levels are poor, guys like Dowell should be niwhere near the team, Tav should be binned, youngsters should be tried ie Lovelace. Elon Musk could be CEO and that team wouldn't perform any better.

£810k is in the notes to the accounts for post balance sheet events. In other words that is the total minimum guaranteed fees for all players sold after 30 June (I’m not across whether that is or is not 5 players I’ll let you count that up) As I have said elsewhere, the true horror of recent accounts is the details in the notes Clarifying that £810k should be the first question asked at the AGM
