Not able to listen first so may be being presumptive here, but if PC leaves for another post it would be the best outcome all round.

Jim Lamb

Chooooon!! Regarding Clement for Belgium, normally when something is too good to be true, they usually are 😔

james whyte

Bringing McGregor and Brown into the conversation is a bit silly. They have both lifted 10s of trophies at ease and unfortunately for Tav he is somewhat a poster boy for failure, being Captain. Time to warm the bench and leave at the earliest opportunity.

KennyY

Wouldn’t blame Clement if he were to go now. Cernys recent comments also reflect badly on some sections of our support. Hope that he sticks to his guns and stays with us. There’s not one manager that could win anything with this squad. Board need to support the manager with cash in January and get rid of the likes of Hagi, Dowell and Tav.

Martin Boyd

Agree most football fans not just Rangers fans can’t see past the next result , Gerrard nearly went after losing to Hearts in the cup plenty wanted him gone. Most couldn’t wait to chase Gio , despite the man getting us to a Euro final and the blame resting with Wilson and the board. Beale was a disaster but most fans wanted him and no doubt most fans would take Gerrard back despite him failing since he left. Until we have stability we will go nowhere as a club.

Miguel Sanchez

I do worry that this lot of players failing at new clubs will taint an already poor reputation for players worth buying from rangers. Makes the uphill task of getting a "trading model" up and running if ex players are having their contracts ripped up or making no real impact.

Graham Roy

Not saying Gio wasn’t treated badly by board but look at his record in Turkey at the moment it is very similar to us! Also his tactics against Celtic showed he never learned against them!

Tom

Yesterday unexpectedly turned in to a good day, the women beat them! Then Scales got sent off against England leading to the ROI taking a good hard pumping.

Rose Mcloughlin

Good luck with your trial...maybe see you in the future in our womens team 💗

Johnnie Mitchell

Listened again to try and catch Mark’s daughter’s name but didn’t hear it. Best of luck to her with her trial 🤞🏻💙 Lovely words at the end David 👍🏻

Bill Ramsay

Don't remember Tedesco as a coach but his tiling is pretty good

Scott Cameron

Thierry Henry will get the Belgium job should it become available as they'll want high profile.

Billy McCormack

Even though the arm band is symbolic, the problem at our club is because tav is the Captain, he's getting picked more often than not when he's playing shite, but if other players are playing crap unless you're Dessers of course, you're being dropped.

Nikky Cairney

I’d drive Clememt to Belgium myself to get him out the club. Few supporters softening their views on him from after Aberdeen to now. Would love this to happen as it would suit everyone. If it doesn’t he will be gone after upcoming defeats.

Be nice to get some cash for a manager going mid-season instead of a massive liability 😁. Can’t really see it but might be serendipitous if it does just the way people are feeling. Tav telling new guys what Rangers are all about. That would explain a thing or 2.

Glyn Davies

My two pence worth on the Tav situ, I agree with David on that a move in January would be best for all parties involved but sadly I can't see it, now I don't know how the rules work but I'd imagine Tav is hanging on for a Testimonial this summer being it his 10th year in 2025

David Scott

Can we do a straight swap with Belgium, id take Donny at Ibrox

Martin Davies

Far more often than not, managers are fired and become a cost to the club. I'd always accept offers for any manager if it means we get a couple of million compensation.

Nom De Ploom

Something that really bothers me is this idea that saying Tav has lost a step & it's time to go is negating all he's done previously. It's nonsense. It's different points completely. The vast majority of us recognise what he's done but he's become a liability & ignoring that is disingenuous to what we are. It's not some family business where wee auld Tav can go about his duties while others pick up the slack without hindrance.

Simon H&H

Then the club may need to give him a sweetener to go in January. Hanging around is doing him and the club no good.

Glyn Davies

Spot on Simon, he isn't even contributing in an attacking sense this season, but for me the biggest worry is how easily he gives up possession to any team we play, his legs are defo on the way out but in fairness he is 33 & I'd love to know how many miles the man has ran up & down the pitch for us over the past 9 seasons but his passing & distribution is woeful.....I've said it till I'm blue in the face to anyone who will listen to me, the rebuild should of started with Tav.......& I'm confident that if that stubborn Belgiun waffle will just drop Tav & use Sterling going forward then we will slowly see an upturn in form & results......but Clements Stubbornness is likely to see Tav onto yet another manager before the seasons end (that'll equal more managers than trophy's won in Tavs decade at the club)

Andy Barnett

Our lack of attacking play this season is hindering the limited remaining ability Tav has. He’s been physically on the demise for 2 years now, and set pieces kept his output above his average performances and general play. Now we’re getting no joy, no pens and no free kicks near the box - it’s proving Tavs limitations.

Grant McNeil

Heard a lot from ex players/managers and current about “great ability to bounce back from defeats” as if it’s the true mark of a Ranger. It no doubt has to be in the character of Rangers players but what they are missing is the gaps between these disasters is the issue. Winning and winning consistently is the mark of great Rangers and when the disappointments come then they bounce back and start again. On that i find the talk from players about mentality and knowing what its all about so tiring. Players that know what its all about tend to not to feel the need to talk about it all the time.

Stewart Robertson

Interesting that Goldson didn’t name check Leon Balogun as a leader in the dressing room

Rona Bluebell

Never say never, but I just can’t see him turning it around or surviving 15th December if it’s a bad result

Graham Jones

It would cost us, because we’d have to pay off the staff he brought in, unless they decided to leave with him, and people tend not to walk out if they have a contract and a chance of a pay day. At the end of the day I think it’s just paper talk, and a bit of a lazy connection by a journalist trying to fill a column in an international week. Also, and it’s a big one, the last time the current chairman was involved in choosing and hiring a Rangers manager he gave us Pedro Caixinha, so no thank you. However, I don’t think he’d want to leave with us where we are right now. He has work to do here, and leaving now would be under a cloud. Not all of his own making, not by a long way, but he would still carry association because he was the manager who was tasked with trying to shape this lot into a football unit and win the title. What I want to know is who this ‘mystery’ person was who forced him out of the club. The idea of some unknown person carrying out club business without him being known seems somewhat amateurish, but I suppose that isn’t out of place with how this board seems to operate. Regarding Tav, he’s been out of form for a while, but the way the fans have took a shit on him publicly has been unsavoury, and not painted us in a good light. The video of that prick shouting at him outside Ibrox after the Old Firm defeat was shameful, and any departure will leave a sour taste in the mouth of the player. Goldson was bang on about what happened to the team after winning the title. The board was full of hubris without understanding what it had taken to put us in front, because it was King and Gerrard who had built that side. The Park’s and their wee gang didn’t understand that, because they weren’t leaders, and lacked the mentality of winners.

Jim Milne

It's a shame it's ending like this. I blame Clement for this current situation. If he was on the bench and playing some games against bottom 6 for rest and rotation he wouldn't be in fans firing lines. The way it's going they'll have 3 stands closed if he gets a testimonial, which is sad. He has been a great servant, not a great captain but I admire what he has achieved for us under an extremely trying era. He doesn't deserve this and Clement should be dropping him.

Jim Milne

With regard to Goldson. 2 points, I respect him defending his mate like you said David. 2nd point I'd rather have Goldson than Propper. Last season Beale started Goldson in our 1st game against Kilmarnock with him having completed absolutely no preseason. I'm not surprised he bombed the way he did. I get the club wanted him off the wage bill, but he's still imo better than Propper currently is. That all being said he's probably happier in life and fair play to him.

Jim Milne

I'd like to agree Rona but with no real backroom staff I doubt the board would sanction his dismissal. I think he is here for the full season.

Michael

Of course I don't agree with everything you say. However, I really enjoy your thoughtful commentary. Thank you mate👍💙

Nikky Cairney

Personally it would be a no to Gerrard. But if the choice is between Clrement and Gerrard it’s a no brainer.

Rona Bluebell

Oh Jim, don’t. That hadn’t occurred to me and my positive outlook is already shredded. 😢
