The same scam happened to my brothers partners eccentric mother & she lost 15 grand to someone pretending to be Tom Jones 🙈🤣......fortunately the money was retrieved on that occasion, HOWEVER, a year later she fell for another scam where someone started one of those online relationships with her in order to get money to travel to Scotland to live with her, more money was sent & lost but thankfully she is now on a blanket ban from social media in order to protect my brothers partners future inheritance (wonder what will be left of it after the Starmer tax 🤮✊️💦)

Maybe a simplistic view on things, but in my opinion, inheritance tax is the biggest load of tripe going. A tax for dying? Taxing somebody who’s already paid tax their whole life? Say you’ve worked from 16-65, and you’ve paid your national insurance, income tax, council tax etc that whole time. Then everything you now own is yours. And if that helps provide for children and grandchildren then that’s an extra reward for your lifetime of hard work. “Aw what’s that? Your grandad died? And he’s left you his house in his will? Aye well never mind grieving him, give us a chunk of the value of the house!” Folk can dress up inheritance tax whatever way they want, and I’ll still argue that it’s the most despicable thing going.

Feel sorry for the disabled guy, that's a challenging wank with anyone's money, and unlike Andy he won't get that money back, he clearly doesn't have a leg to stand on Hope he doesn't listen to this and gets triggered by the limbs in the loch story, he'll be on a tour of Scottish lochs before we know it. 👀 Talking of Barry Wallace, he went to Rangers games, think he sat in either the main stand ,or possibly the more opulent club deck, I worked with a mate of his (John) when it all happened, long time ago now and my recollection of it is clouded by time, Begg is an absolute scumbag.

I am pro tax and pro Labour but I think they have massively misjudged this. There is still this misconception that farmers live a very opulent lifestyle.

If you look at those AirUp water bottles they have various flavours in a disc that screws in under the lid. All it is is the scent of whatever flavour it's meant to be, so that when you take a swig of water you get the scent in your nose. I've tried it and it does indeed make the water taste exactly like juice/flavoured water, even though you're only actually consuming pure water. It's not a bad idea

Listening to Colin's "understanding" (and I use that term very loosely) of farming life was a perfect case of someone talking about something they know very little about and yet still managing to have an opinion on it 🙄🤣 I won't even get started on trying to re-educate him into realising that life running a farm is not as opulent as simply "we'll just buy another tractor to avoid paying tax"... farmers buy machinery to, you know,run the farm, produce food, and generate a (pittance) income for themselves. And it's hard work too... oh wait... that's why Colin is struggling to understand.... 🤣🤣🤣

My thoughts on the farming issue is who did the pm meet not long ago Bill gates what has he been doing buying all the farm land in the USA to mass produce his gm food. So the pm comes up with a tax the forces farmers to sell and who buys yes you guessed it Bill Gates

Tax inheritance on farmers, Andy is right there will be a lot out there who are asset rich but cash poor. These guys work 7 days a week doing long hours and a lot are just scraping by, it’s not like they are living an opulent lifestyle. It’s not like they are passing on a regular home to their families, it’s a business.
