Colin Mathie

Why the delay, he should be starting today?

John Smith

Best of luck to Captain Picard/Professor X

Colin Mathie

Every board member should be at that AGM, including the new guy.

Vanb bryceter

Listened to the carpod and heard the comments about players waiting for Clement to be sacked. I want whoever comes in to get those players together and fkn bin them. They aren't Rangers players. We want folk playing who will put everything on the line every single day for the club and for us. That performance on Saturday was utterly disgraceful amongst a plethora of disgraceful performances. Good luck to the new CEO he has the easiest first task to complete on the first minute of his first day to get off to a flier. Please make it so

Rona Bluebell

Any truth in the rumour that after Saturday David Edgar has given up H&H, bought an apartment in Dubai, bought a mankini and now working on his all over tan? ☀️ 👻

Heart and Hand

Firstly, that last line? THAT’S how to drop a reference 👏 Secondly, spot on. Sick of these chancers.

James McSween

Every single game we drop points he always points out we were up against a great goalkeeper!

Charlie Nicolson

Colin, I don't see any need for you to apologise for sounding negative. You're just reflecting how most of the support feel

Alan Weir

Would it be fair to say we have now reached the stage where anything the manager says in press conferences can be taken with a massive pinch of salt? A combination of straw-clutching, lies and delusional nonsense is being spouted to defend the indefensible.

Robert Reid

Eventually, looks like a good appointment, although bad day when the board are that sure we'll get beat in the league cup that they need to plan for a good news story to come out the day after.

Leslie White

On Saturday after seventy years as a supporter and stayed to the end of games, the better half and myself walked out at half time. On thoughts we would sneak out, in the contrary it looked like thousands disgusted at the fair called football? We’re absolute sick of within five minutes of kick off knowing we’re in for turgid pathetic slow, slow pussy footing so called football.

Billy McCormack

Fuck off ya baldy Belgium prick, we're worse off since he's came in, guys a dick! He lost his credit ages ago, get him to fuck!

Billy McCormack

Jack Butlands another one, shut the fuck up or get to fuck, he's just as bad as the rest of the imposters on that park!

Alan Weir

Let’s just hope the new CEO (and his special powers) isn’t allowed anywhere near the women’s team.

David Hanlon

All good seems to actually be a good appointment. But I think that getting rid of the manager should be first his first job. Do you seriously think we can even finish second this season. We will lose heavily to them and as the league is over. Only the Scottish cup is left.

Tamus

The manager utterly deluded The Belgian Waffle

Alan Weir

Disagree, Billy. Butland is surrounded by mediocrity and has played a substantial role in keeping us in some games. His interview starkly contrasts with the bollocks spouted by the manager in its honesty. Let’s not chase one of the few decent players and people at the club.

Greg

He also played a substantial role in last seasons collapse. I get the feeling he's switched on to what the fans want to hear.

Alan Weir

He’s not daft, but I think any fan with a fair level of sense can see his assessments of games are, at best, misguided or simply nonsense that highlight some largely irrelevant “positives”.

Craig

Sick listening to Clement's turd polishing every week. Won't be back until he's gone.

Spoon

This idea we have bought into that everything takes months to have an impact is nonsense. A new CEO should be able to come in and quickly make quick wins, build towards some short term improvements and the other stuff can roll from that. 6 months to get up to speed, why ?

Doogz

Try not to even bother listening to him now, waffling nonsense game after game, he knows it’s over, just getting severance sorted. Hope the new CEO is capable of making the big calls, and putting a Rangers team on the park the supporters can be proud of. He should heed the words of David Holmes one man one voice, and get board members told it’s his to make the calls and no leaking to press.

Darren

Not a chance the manager or players think celtc are going to drop the amount of points we need them to and that will impact tight matches as the goals aren't there and the defensive mistake is always incoming.

Spoon

We seem to have lost all sense of what a proper player is, Butland is decent no more and certainly has made mistakes like most of our squad. Half a dozen games makes you amazing these days. Since we went down and came back we seem desperate to over hype the average, we almost seem grateful when someone turns out to be ok or can stay fit.

Jim Milne

I'm so tired of hearing the phrase "part of the story". I'm honestly at a point where I don't know if the club have any ambition to change manager until the summer. Every week we say that this can't go on, yet it does. December is going to be a long month.

James

Injured himself during the warm up? 😉 Maybe he has a prior commitment? Or just wants a huge holiday before his life is turned upside down 🤣

Alan Cowan

I hope Patrick Stewart doesn't let Clement "Klingon" to his job.

Greg Cameron

I think we all know why there was a difference between the candidates. One was pals with Bennet and the other has been the result of the work/recruitment process put in place by Gilligan and Letham.

Vanb bryceter

That honestly breaks my heart. I've always supported the team through thick and thin. However I feel there is a massive disconnect with the team. We have endured too many false dawn's since 2012 apart from 1 title and the Europa run there hasn't been much to hold on to. The next manager needs to heal the chasm between us the fans and what is being produced on the park. The league is paramount more than ever not just to shut the tims up but most importantly we need to get access to the richest of the champions League that is where we belong.

David_Davy_Dave

Enough of this interim manager rubbish Moyes. Just get Moyes Rogers stated he is only doing 3 years in last week’s presser. He doesn’t make many missteps but that was one We need a manger who we can trust to build but will get us the wins v Celtic we need to keep the faith. If Rogers is going they will have unrest next season with players also looking to go. We need to capitalise and need a manager in now to be ready

Hendi

I won't be getting too carried away with the new CEO until I see some evidence. An appointment from a big club plays to our collective ego. We saw that with the reception to Aaron Ramsay signing. Why is he not staying at United? Why was he only interim CEO? What's the pull of Rangers over Man u? Not writing him off but reserving judgment like we should with all new arrivals.

JimGLW

Clement continues to talk utter mince

David Johnson

"Also..." stop saying also ya fud!

Robbie McCarroll

Clement is just keeping the seat warm in detriment to performance. Imagine he will be replaced before by Spring when the dust has settled at board level. anyone coming in will have an extended preseason starting April best we can hope for is certain players out the door in Jan and working to get 2nd as no Europa next season is unimaginable

Alastair McGeoch

The only thing Rangers class at the moment at Rangers are the fans. The new CEO gets the benefit of the doubt but to be frank he has to prove he is Rangers class. Good luck to him though, he has a massive job on his hands which I suspect will involve firing Clement before the year is out.

Graham Jones

That’s nonsense, the manager is being set up as the fall guy again for the board. He did about as much as he could with what he has to work with, and that’s why the CEO should’ve been at the AGM. He would’ve seen and heard himself what has went on, and who caused this mess we’ve been in. The board also said they’d appoint the new chairman first, and here we are getting the CEO. I’m afraid that I don’t trust anyone on that board apart from Karim Verani. He’s the one person who seems to make things happen. The rest need to be replaced. First thing the new CEO should do is peak to Dave King, so he knows the type of people he’ll be dealing with on a daily basis. King,s been telling what was going on for three years and we bought the boards spin instead. Offord bought a peerage and now we’re getting the delights of his shenanigans at Rangers. Great, just what we need. The less politics at Rangers the better.

KennyY

I think k it’s exactly the opposite at the moment if I’m honest. Booing every misplaced bad pass or blocked shot or targeting individual players for constant criticism isn’t Rangers class in my own opinion. Didn’t you hear Cerny speak the other week. The fan reaction got to him and he wanted away. That’s what the Rangers fans are doing to the players at the moment and that makes players afraid to try anything because of the backlash from the fans if it doesn’t come off. Changing the manager every year isn’t the answer. He needs to be backed by the board and the fans and will turn this around with a couple of attacking signings in January. This isn’t a quick fix and fans need to show some degree of of patience. We are Rangers and we demand instant success but in reality the board and recruitment teams have let us down big time and were left with no financial clout and an average first team squad.

Graeme Price

Don't apologize mate, we're all right there with you. Third time not lucky unfortunately...

Alastair McGeoch

Fair point on the fans impact! I hadn’t thought of it like that. On Clement, I don’t think he’s shown enough to deserve to be backed. Sticking rigidly to formations and wedded to playing certain players week in and out with other always having to play out of position. I don’t think I’ve seen him solve a single on field problem in game or out. However, it’s clear now he’ll get to the end of the season to give new CEO time to bed in and sort the off field stuff out. It’s up to Clement to show he’s worth backing in that time.

Graham Miller

Have to laugh about some of the comments about the new CEO. For a start he’s coming with a pedigree none of us could have imagined. 18 years at Man U. On a huge number of influential committees. Was their interim CEO while Ratcliffe got things his way. He may fail but we need to give him a chance and that’s not just a couple of months. Just imagine the crap that would be written if we had appointed the guy from Hearts or St Mirren

Craig

As usual once I calmed down I bought tickets for the Kilmarnock game 🤣
