Presumably commercial considerations are why they won’t properly explain that £0.8m I can’t see why they don’t explain it’s the net amount and as you say there were deductions in respect of fees owed to clubs or the player Regardless we look ridiculous and it leaves us weak for future fee discussions on anyone we want to get rid of

I found the figure mind blowing. I had thought the likely fees would be McCrorie £100k, Wright £300k, Cantwell £600k, Goldson £1.5m, Lammers £2m. I know there are complexities in transfer deals and we had to accept a hit on fees to get players off the wage bills. Even so, the pedigree of the 5 players should have been able to command reasonable fees. I would have thought that Lammers’ very successful loan spell with Utrecht would have let us command a decent fee.
