Guess the issue for Clement has been mentioned on the pod several times. He could win 5 in a row playing better but it's back to square one when we lose one. If he loses to celtic it won't matter and the fans turn again

I've complained about Clement a lot this season. So I'm just gonna relax and enjoy the fact the last 4 games have been positive and enjoyable and I won't let what he said today annoy me. I'm just enjoying the moment for just now, and long may it continue.

Great result. Arguably the most significant for me given our challenges on the road and struggle to just control a game over 90, credit to the team and manager. Deviating from the usual stuff I bang on about….the change recently for me is exemplified by the revitalisation of Tav who has looked back to his best going forward. Delighted to see him back, hungry and contributing to our attacking threat, assisting and scoring a cracking strike full of confidence today. I get the focus is on the strikers but the whole team seem to have had a jolt with the new attacking focus, defenders are solid and using the using the ball better, midfielders have snap and are getting forward and the full back have been immense. Jefte for his age is a joy to watch and while not perfect what a talent and his attitude is excellent. Would love to know what switch has finally been flipped. If we can get a few results in the upcoming games I could be convinced Clement could turn things around. I want a decent showing against spurs but don’t need a win, I do need to see something positive from them though or all this good work really doesn’t matter that much. Proper away win, great to watch, big few weeks coming.

Indeed it is, suggests that when anyone has more money it’s inevitable they win, can assure him from the 90s we had shed loads of cash and were utter dross in Europe. Did we only win 9 in a row from having more money ? Nah not for me, attitude, endeavour and coaching narrows the gaps in modern football and you see upsets all the time.

The hatred of Phil Clement by a lot of our fans is reminiscent of the hatred they had of Gerrard just after he lost his 6th trophy in a row .. think many of our fans called him a serial loser .. but Gerrard probably has too much hair to be called ‘a baldy bawbag & baldy banger’ ect like Phil is being called by some of our fans ..

David referenced his football book of clichés when saying Tav's shot "arced" in to the goal, sadly Crocker & Neil McCann used their own cliché when referring to Igamane's goal took a "wicked" deflection. Wee Neil even said the keeper would have saved it easily had it not been deflected 🤡🤡

😂 I’ve been disappointed with lots this season, it’s just that I do try to have patience and try to assess within wider context. It’s so much easier to move to “rip it up and start again” sack the manager, clear out the squad etc, never for me. We tried this a few times recently and it was counter productive, probably just me, but I’d rather we try to give it time, especially with significant changes to the squad, hoping things will improve going forward. Sadly at times I have accepted that things weren’t working despite being patient and Managers will actually need to be replaced for the greater good, but I will never be abusive to someone, either managers or players who were genuinely trying their level best for our club. Recently there has been a slight improvement which is pleasing, but as ever it will all come down to results on the park and the collection of shiny things for our trophy room. Hard to disagree although if we get tanked Thursday and Sunday the knives will be back out, massive difference in being a more enjoyable watch the past few games with igname and danilos running power and Hagi and cerny looking to create

Celtic will never be “out of our league” financially. Yes, they have more money than us, but the SPL puts constraints on how much of an advantage that can leverage. There’s a ceiling on the calibre of player you can attract to the SPL which mitigates the financial gulf. That’s why i never buy this ‘decade behind’ hyperbole that gets thrown around. I honestly believe neither OF club will ever be more than 3 or 4 good transfer windows behind the other. It’s the SPL, not the EPL.

I don’t like Clement. But I’ve used the last week as a reset going into these next two massive games. Tried to be positive. And then he comes out with that shite after the game and I remember why I can’t stand him and don’t want him anywhere near our club. Imagine being a player in that dressing room. You’ve won 4 games, theres some positive signs. And then you hear your manager making excuses before a ball is kicked this week. Negative thoughts will enter the players head no doubt. Why not just say we’ve done well this week but now we step up against better opposition and we will face them head on. Get everyone on side and heading into the week, instead he angers a lot of the fan base again.

Got to disagree with the guys regarding the cup final team. If we go with Danilo and Igamane we will get destroyed in midfield. He has to revert to the midfield he uses in Europe for the next couple games. Have Danilo as an option to come on. Also agree Souttar has been great of late and he’s surprised me also with his consistency. But let’s see how he goes this week, especially the cup final. We’ve got a tendency as fans to hype players up who then fail when the old firms come round.
