Afternoon Delight in Dingwall

Simon is joined by Grant and Iain as they look back at the last few days at the club including morale boosting wins over Kilmarnock and Ross County.

The guys also look ahead to a defining week in the season as Tottenham visit Ibrox before all eyes turn to Hampden next weekend for the League Cup Final.

Excellent pod gents, very little to disagree with in your comments. For once in the last few seasons I want to see us go at them with our best team. Clement has nothing to lose and everything to gain, if he retreats back into his shell he’s done (unless it gets a win somehow!). My pick for MOTM would be Jefte, energy, class and maturity which is going under the radar from a young guy who has absolutely grasped the opportunity. A joy to watch and I would be emptying Ridvan asap and getting someone in tbe next window from a local team in as back up. This needs to be a week of opportunity not fear, midweek I just want to see us compete. Sunday I want us to be desperate to make a mark.

Igamane has learned French? Doesn’t he speak it natively, it’s an official language of Morocco

Grant Sneddon

Can only assume Clement meant he was speaking more fluently in French as the official language is Arabic but French is understood by practically everyone.

Brian Fisher

Hagi was on the second chapter when the rest if the squad were just opening the book.

Scott Watson

Arabic is the primary language Many morrocans will learn French but not everyone and to varying degrees

Heart and Hand

He said on Wednesday his French is improving so they can communicate a bit more directly so I think he had some knowledge of it but maybe didn’t use it often. Obviously he’s working on English too!

Ross

Genuinely can’t believe it’s even debatable about RB this week. Tav gets done time and time again and is so weak defensively whereas nobody gets past Sterling

Hendi

A few months ago the manager was apparently incompetent for signing an unknown Morrocan and not buying a "proven goalscorer" for the money...

Iain Campbell

He is very much like Ronald De Boer in that regards. 2-3 passes ahead of his teammates

Craig Fryatt

I heard the same myself Hendi across many outlets. Always good for slated players to prove people wrong as it means Rangers are winning

Great pod boys. It’s just nice to have a debate about player of the week, instead of they should all be bagged and start again. Igamane would get my vote but Raskin, Hagi, Souttar, Danilo and Jefte would have a case to be player of the week.

We have qualified in EL. Technically another point needed but another round of games even if we lose will I think make it mathematically secured
