Not to look backwards but if Cantwell had Hagi’s attitude and love for football he’d playing at the mid/top end of EPL

Thanks guys, although I appreciate the better performances I find it difficult at this point too be really convinced on Clement and his up and down tactics just my opinion 🤷‍♂️, hopefully i am wrong this week ahead might just awnser a few questions hopefully we are on the path to improvement.

Clement's comments on the DU today regarding having strikers that can hold up the ball, and not make us easy for other opponents only reinforced my opinion that Silva was a terrible signing last January. A striker that could hold the ball up could've let us to riches last season. Hate to dwell on the past but it's frustrating as hell looking back.

I’m absolutely buzzing for going to Ibrox on Thursday- odds are we won’t win but there are reasons to be hopeful that just weren’t there a few weeks ago. If we can pull it off it will be one for the ages

Gents enjoyable pod to start hopefully a positive week. Cant disagree with any of the comment, balanced and fair. Tentative signs but we need to stop deciding to sort our shit out half way through seasons it’s horrible as a fan to watch us point gun at foot and pull trigger year on year. Thursday is a free hit in terms of result but we can’t just get turned over we need to see fight and the same positive attitude we have seen in recent games for me.

Is it just me or is somebody vaping😂?

Big week for Clement decisions wise which may buy him a tad of faith / belief in some quarters. I.e. reckon most would like to start Tav and give 75 mins vs Spurs then Stirling last 15 for Sterling to start Sunday. Bajrami #10 on Thu and Hagi Sunday. Propper start Thu / Balogun Sunday. Let's see.....

Colin Mathie

The only way Tav gets game time for me on Sunday is if we're 2 or 3 up, which i really cant see happening, he should start Thursday though.

I’m trying not to get too excited as next 2 games are going to show if this is a phase or the start of something! The movement up front is allowing the midfield to step forward which has made us more difficult to play against. I just hope we play this way against Celtic and don’t go back to Dessers up front!

Agree that Hagi, Danilo and Igamane have refreshed the attack in the last couple of games. Hagi isn’t perfect but his attitude has been excellent and he will always try things. Still can’t get carried away at all to be honest. Tried to use the last week as a reset on Clement and then he comes out with his comment post match and I remember why I can’t stand him. Regarding this week I think the team vs Spurs picks itself. I reckon Bajrami and Dio come in for Danilo and Hagi. Balogun/Propper and Tav/Sterling probably fitness dependant ahead of Sunday. My question is what would you do on Sunday and what do you think Clement does. Does he go with a version of the team and shape we seen vs Kilmarnock and County or does he revert to a more of a 3 in midfield we’ve seen? Either way Sterling has to start Sunday or we will see the same outcome vs Maeda.

I disagree about Postecoglou coming back not mattering. The entire fanbase would love to send him packing with his tail between his legs

jason hart

Unfortunately that was cantwells biggest problem ... his attitude ... good player on his day but not as good as he thinks he is

Jamiedfa

You would think Igamane was the second coming of Erling Haaland after listening to this, having said that if Dessers is the benchmark then so be it😁

Jamiedfa

Fair enough, point taken😁 Igamane has been refreshing to watch
