Join Kev, Stevie and Iain as they look ahead to this weekends League Cup Final.

They say a week is a long time in football and seldom has that been more relevant at Ibrox.

Spurs were fortunate to escape Govan with a 1-1 draw but the true acid test for rejuvenated Rangers is the old enemy.

If we can play the way we did against spurs then we’ll give a good account of ourselves,That was the first time I’ve saw us in and out of shape looking like a team unit,The tempo,The second balls won (raskin) and a focal point up top with young hamza,A lot of people comparing him with Alfredo,I see that too,But do you know who he reminds me of??Big Gabriel amato,Power,Strenghth,Skill,Hate saying this but we won’t hold on to him long,He’s that good,

Hendi

We deffo missed a trick not spending that £1.5m Igamane cash on a "proven striker who can do it domestically" that so many were shouting about a few months ago. 😇

Simon H&H

Yup. We’ve done nothing yet domestically. Let’s see how tomorrow goes before we start getting way ahead of ourselves

Hendi

Aye it would be a whole different story if we'd Kevin Nisbet or Duk in there tbf.

I have sleepless nights thinking about Tav up against maeda and I'm thinking Tav must be the same I wouldn't be starting him although he's played well recently, some folk said he played well up against Timo Werner but he was honking the other night .

Alex Anderson

Brilliant analysis as always and a great listen.

Calum Robertson

Outstanding analysis as always lads. Tough call about playing Tav. Sterling is Rangers swiss army knife, can do most anything but not nailed down a shirt. I trust the manager´s call on this. Let´s hope we´re celebrating tomorrow.

I'm really torn about tav playing or not , he's high in confidence atm and contributing numbers again. I get he has had a couple of howlers against maeda but feel the narrative is a bit over the top about him being "terrified". The whole team has had howlers against them annoyingly. Tav is a bigger goal threat towards celtic than maeda is towards us surely going by goal contrbution and assist? Not sure. Just my opinion. Not saying it's not a concern because it is but the whole tav can't sleep thinking about maeda is ridiculous. Maedas pace will outrun most players. Big decision for the manager. Come on the teddy bears 🐻💙

Another great pod guys especially enjoyed it after recent results and performances isn't it a massive turn around thanks to the team and the manager 👍, going into this final with renewed enthusiasm and belief ,we can do this 👏

I have some hope for tomorrow. 3 weeks ago I was dreading the final. Clement looked doomed a few weeks ago. It looked like the only thing saving him were the vacancies higher up the hierarchy, with the expectation that once a Chairman/CEO/DOF were in place their first task would be to sack him. Clement has put this breathing space to good use by producing positive results and much improved performances. A few weeks ago the “lots of players just in the building” was grating - we can now see new players delivering, Igamane being the foremost example. Tavernier’s return to form, Raskin looking like a reborn player, Hagi and Danilo making a positive impact - all these reflect well on Clement in terms of man-management and managing the physical/medical side. A win tomorrow would really “flip the script”. Let’s see what happens.

The Moroccan Bulldozer is actually the nickname of a guy fighting in the UFC tonight, 😂

BlueJay

I think theres a good chance tav will play right back, and sterling will be in at centre half

Douglas Innes

Cup finals are for winning Tav to start for me , sterling doesn't offer the same attacking threat going forward ......

Bradley johnson

Enjoyed the pod. As interesting as the Sterling/Tav discussion is, i think the Hagi/Bajrami discussion shows more about how things have changed over the past month or so

David Innes

Great analysis of their weaknesses Steven, my worry is we’ll still be in the mindset of playing the badge not the 11

Scott Allan

Great pod lads. Some effort in your research Steven. Enjoyed watching the video analysis.

Nathan

I think the assessment on mentality of the Spurs fans pre-match could be a bit off. Those interviewed outside Ibrox before the game looked beaten before a ball was kicked. They at least knew they were in for a tough night. That shows a Respect for Rangers, and what we're doing in Europe, as much as it does their own form.

Doogz

Good comparison by Steven Re: Raskin and wee Doddy, my first Old Firm LCF with my old man was sitting in the old North Stand at Hampden seeing Doddy score with a flying header into the Rangers end, would be lovely to see Nico re-enacting that today

Scott Watson

Brilliant as always gentlemen Loved the video analysis Stevie, first rate as usual My overall feeling is the same as Kev, it's the hope that kills you Hope I'm very wrong. I've been predicting a 2-1 win in about the last 20 old firms so I'll go for that again

Eric Brownlie

Great show as ever guys - appreciate all the prep Fingers crossed
