Rangers returned to group stage European football for the first time in 8 years with a tremendous result away to Villareal. Elsewhere in September 2018, progress in the league came to a sudden stop with a shock defeat away to Livingston and there was an easy passage into the semi-final of the League Cup.

I always felt Katic was seen as the defender more suited to domestic football, as he loved a physical challenge and a header. Sadly he never developed the consistency we needed.

Who picks game officials? What is the process? Is there a rota with games/teams divvied up relatively equally for each official over the season, or is each game taken as an ad hoc event? Most of the Scottish officiating fraternity are incompetent but somebody is picking the likes of Muir and Connor regularly for Rangers games. We should know more about the game allocation process and in particular who is involved …

Great pod. And shows the immediate, vast improvement that Gerrard made. This was an exciting time and the draw in Spain was a super result.
