Great pod guys! I think what Caroline describes RE the referee is refereeing without integrity. It’s incredibly frustrating and also sadly predictable.

The club really need to get right on top of this. Many will spout the subjective narrative to try and deflect. However we need to keep it front and centre and let these cheating arses know we aren't lying down to their agenda anymore. I think we get to the season end and go for an extraordinary meeting with all member clubs and force change from there surely the rest have had enough of this myopic little state

Fab as always Cammy and Caroline. Happy New Year to you both, all the podders and all the listeners. Yesterday was great, we all enjoyed it (and my god we all deserve to enjoy it) but it will mean absolutely nothing if they don't now kick on and out the same effort and performance in against Hibs on Sunday. We WANT to love you all guys and see you all become Rangers heroes, for God's sake give us good reason to!! 💙💙

From a football point of view…it’s clear this squad have got ability, quality and, deep down somewhere, character and personality, what they lack is consistency really where it absolutely counts - tough domestic games (which has been a characteristic of most of our squads since 2012, let’s be honest). This should focus our minds on the next tranche of player recruitment because I still remain convinced we’re lacking domestic players, 3-4 Scottish players, who can get the sleeves rolled up and do some heavy lifting that compensates for our weaknesses in this area. If we can get that right then the gap from us to them can be covered and perhaps more quickly than the 11 point gap suggests. What we can’t do is soft soap this gap and the nature of it just because we smashed them with some style. Another fact: we’ve stuck six goals on them (should’ve possibly been seven) in just two games. Clement has happened on a tactical switch up that works against them, so the puzzle is tantalisingly close to being solved. We can’t go on this daft rollercoaster ride in the other domestic games though we need to get honest with ourselves and do something about it. Move players like Dessers, Dowell, Tavernier and Matondo on (possibly Butland), get in domestic (or Scottish) players with the character of a Liam Kelly, if you get my drift. Arfield, Jack, McGregor and Davis were the beating heart of the Gerrard side and they were all Bosmans(?). Clement needs backed in the next window and to rather state the obvious he needs to sign some local dog bite signings to get there.

Inconsistency is the symptom, not the cause. It is depth of squad that is the main issue. Because of that we are inconsistent. Manager keeps trying to tell us that.

Thanks for the pod. My ever swinging pendulum of opinion around PC is exhausting. I’m hoping a good window brings the depth of squad that delivers some stability. Is PC the real deal? I honestly haven’t a clue but I’m hanging on in there again after yesterday. Please let him be the one 🙏

I heard him say in the last few days "we have no money for January signings, need to move players on and bring in players from the B-team, etc." As a fantastic day as it was yesterday I still have concerns over what he communicates. I never know whether to believe him or not.

Manager has bought himself some time.. not a lot but some. His downfall is having this team beating the likes of St Mirren,Motherwell ,HIVs regularly away & at home.. He can turn it around but it’s miles & miles away from where we should be.. His & this squads next big game is the next one.. Fails in that then it’s time to fall on his sword.

I agree with everything you say, but then I jump back and say give him time. Reality is he's getting the season and probably the summer transfer. If he didn't talk so much pish and contradictions I wouldn't be on and off the fence. I know we won but giving your opponents the insight of losing your captain and goalie shouldn't be happening.

100%. I don’t disagree. I think both points of view can be valid here. I’ve been upset with Clement for sure but equally recognise the crap situation he’s been handed. If he hangs on, gets backed, and has two good windows, we could be ready for next season.

If we are to start the player trading model we are going to need to go a bit farther in Europe as it's those displays that sell our players. If we make the last 16 possibly last 8 it is huge exposure. Raskin's rise from mediocrity this season seems reminiscent of Bassey. If Raskin can play like he has been at Old Trafford someone will throw a bid in before the end of the window IMO. If not, I'm convinced he will be gone by the summer if he keeps playing this way. All that aside, I'm gonna soak up every ounce of enjoyment from yesterday until kick off against Hibs.
