I’ve been that way with manager for a few weeks now! I don’t think we gain any advantage getting rid of him the now. The board need time to access him and have some frank conversations! He can rightly argue the defensive injuries have affected the team however even when we had a full squad these results happened! Would like to see us strengthen the defence and forward line in January. But this season is dead rubbber now and even if he wins Scottish cup I think it’s time for a change in the summer.

Steven Renton

He can talk all he wants in this way that way or the other way . Utter shite. Don't piss on my coat and tell me it's raining. Injuries don't begin to excuse that performance. More than half of that team were good. The rest can vanish.

Glen Kane

So, no incomers this window? What a sad state of affairs.

james whyte

From our squad who guarantees a 7/10+ every game? Answers on the back of a very small stamp. Not enough of them. Not even close!

Martin Boyd

There is no advantage of sacking yet another manager at this stage of the season. Fans wanting him gone have wanted the last 3 managers gone ( one I agree was a charlatan), thankfully Gerrard was given time. My Son actually said yesterday, “ what’s Katic up to these days”. Doesn’t have to be good football player just a bloody good defender.

Ryan Stewart

On transfers, see if it’s just going to be straight loans I’d rather we never bothered tbh. Pissing more money against the wall on more short term fixes with no possibility of getting a return on it. And for what? To finish 2nd anyway? Would rather we looked at some pre contracts for the summer or deals that will actually benefit us long term

David P

1 win in the last 4 in the league. 2 wins in the last 7 in all competitions. 3 wins in 10 away games in the league this season. 13 pts behind in the beginning of January. Imo things are really bad already. I do take the point though I don't think the club think it's bad enough to sack him and that terrifys me in regards to the current standards at the club. There's no point just sticking with a manager just to stick with a manager which I think some people have now decided they're going to do. Apathy will be the biggest killer for the rest of this season.

Craig Clements

I will never understand why we didn't take a punt on Gogic in the summer. Available for 0. Played here for years. Knows the league. Hard bastard. Everything David talked about we are looking for in a "domestic " centre half.

Ewan Christie

Just as well Aberdeen have become an absolute bin-fire!

David Campbell

I think there will be a change of manager this summer. It's about getting to the summer now imo

Jordan McKay

As long as 2nd isn’t in doubt. Aberdeen’s collapse has saved Clements’s job I reckon.

Tamus

Our manager talks some amount of pish Belgian Waffle

Colin Carstairs

We’ve become a team who in a one off game we turn up .. Much like a cup team. He won’t be sacked any time soon unless there’s a drastic drop of which with this squad who knows… For an experienced manager he doesn’t seem to manage within games but I am not in his position so he should know what he’s doing. An effective well run club & a PR team would of got ahead of the manager dropping the Patrick Stewart situation, We are not a well run with an effective pr strategy who communicates clearly with the supporters no matter If it’s good or bad news. One of many many issues the CEO/chairman need to deal with at our club.

John Davidson

Run out of patience with these imposters. Sick of the sight of all of them. Dundee will do us as well.

Gary Q

I know we’re ridiculously loyal, but many will see it as taking the piss come ST renewal time if we don’t improve the squad in this window and the manager is still here.

Stewart Thomson

Clement's take on that 90 minutes was yet again is just an insult I'm sorry. Whether or not you agree with him on the penalty call, for me it's of the "soft" variety, but if it's up the other end, we're probably screaming for it. For him to come out and say Hibs took belief from that is complete nonsense. We had lost our grip on the game from the half hour mark. Our game management was non existent and to top it all off we lose the lead for a second time anyway.

Niall MacKay

Hey, did you know you've put a Red Hot Chili Peppers song on here? I can barely bring myself to listen to Rangers news now. Even when something goes well, we only have to wait a couple of days to be back in a state of what feels like eternal misery. When did we last get through an entire week happy?

Jim McCutcheon

Positives are there but it's clouded with a lot of negatives we need Patrick to enlighten us on the plan ahead 🤷‍♂️,

Alexander Bruce Crombie

David you may cover this in the flagship but why is Clement going so strong on the penalty? I think most fans would be shouting for it if it was for there team. He doesn’t normally blame refs , hopefully the Celtic game doesn’t give him license to blame everything on refereeing decisions.

Heart and Hand

He’s not alone in feeling it was a bad decision, a lot do. But he seemed to suggest Hibs weren’t threatening at that point which I disagree with

BlueJay

I think Clement wont be sacked while were still in Europe. The board appear content to have written off domestic success, so are hoping for another euro run to boost the finances. But this short-term thinking is not gonna get us to where we deserve to be. For me, this shows a complete disconnect to what the support want.

Conor Brown

Couldn't agree more, I can't think of a single title winning Rangers team without guys like Gogic. In the last 25 years alone I think of Broadfoot, Scott Wright, Christian Dailly, Greg Stewart, Velicka, Alex Rae, Marvin Andrews, Stephen Thomson etc Worked hard, knew the league, could do a job against the jobbers, Allowing us to rest key players for the "bigger" games, all for a lot less than the Championship rejects or euro trash. Also St Mirrens highest paid player on about one tenth of what we were paying Ben Davies, I know who I'd rather be playing beside.

Stephen

It’s a good idea until we lose one game and we are all saying “that’s what happens when you sign an SPFL journeyman ” The fact that Gogic has played here for years but not for any of the bigger clubs says it all. What next ? Bring in Simon Murray up front?

Andy Gray

Agree with your comments about the match. Basically over 60 mins we lost 3-1, and from a position of total dominance. Just not acceptable.

Craig scullion

Cant believe im saying it, but i would go and get Alex Gogic 🙈😭

Colin Mathie

If god forbid Fraserburgh beat us then im sorry, hes gotta go, that day.

Colin R

Glad that Kelly used the word ‘anger’ because I’m fed up with hearing about ‘disappointment’

Heart and Hand

Mate, if Fraserburgh had beat any Rangers manager he’d have to go. I don’t think you need to worry about it 😀

Graham Jones

Great tune. The way I see it we’re back where we were with Gerrard in season one or two. We were shipping points back then, and Gerrard was given decent budgets. This poor bastard was handed a shit sandwich and took it on. Now people are letting the board off by looking to sack him. I don’t like the situation we’re in but changing managers will do nothing but hand the problem to someone who is less suitable. I mean, done people wanted Neil Warnock, ffs.

Delgers

I remember when being 13 points behind them(at any t8me of season, never mind January) was things getting really, really bad! Oh how this board have managed to lower the expectations/standards of a once great institution!!

Niall MacKay

Cannae stand them! A band with Flea playing bass and John Fruiscante on guitar shouldn't be awful and yet they manage it!
