Never known a manager talk about another club as much as Clement does them. Loves to tell us celtic have a bigger budget. We are one win each with them this season in the league. Never mentions the budgets of all the other teams in the league that he can’t beat week in week out. King of the excuses is this waffler.

I’m think it’s embarrassing the way Clement has passed the buck to Stewart. Surly a manager of his stature could answer the transfer questions easily as he’s normally good a talking nonsense in every interview.

When is someone above him gonna tell him to stop going on about the fkn money gap to them coz all it does is turn fan's more against him. Ffs our wage bill has been bigger than theirs for ages so its buying duds thats the real issue. Obviously they can spend more if they want but rarely splash big time.

I’m sorry manager can’t complain about Celtic spending more being the reason we drop points against ST Mirren and Motherwell who spend pennys compared to us! If we were beating every team apart from them then fair enough. However what he has to spend on players should be delivering better results than the dross in the league! I accept injuries are a problem but can’t tell me that Bajrami isn’t good enough to deliver a performance against St Mirren etc…

I don't imagine Patrick Stewart will tell us anything we don't already know. Money is tight due to years of horrendous decision making and we can't bring in players without moving others on first which he obviously can't speak about in detail because professionalism. In terms of tonight, I just don't want to come home from Dundee feeling like an absolute mug for going up there. I can accept we are in transition, I can accept this is a long term project as much as its absolutely diabolical we are basically back in Gerrard Season 1 territory at best given all the work that was done. However, I can't accept us consistently making absolute jobbers look like Real Madrid. Phillipe Clement likes to talk about the budgets of Celtic and Euro opposition which aye cool fair enough but then why are we consistently being bested or held by teams who we eclipse with our budget? Go out there and pick up 3 points by being professional in our attitude, our application and our set-up.

Davie the way you’ve described that is how I’ve felt since the season started. Expectation is what has killed us as fans since start of the season. We knew it was gonna be transitional and difficult but ultimately most haven’t been able to handle how that’s actually looked. Second half of the season has to be better but first half in my opinion was always gonna be inconsistent and volatile for results and performances. There are shoots of improvement but if people make up their mind as early as some have, I just don’t think you can see them.
