William Noble

When is the CEO statement coming??

Jordan McKay

Part of me wonders if the reason there hasn’t been a transfer statement yet is because they’re pondering a different statement.

William Noble

Sean Dyce is. Available just. Saying

Chemical Bear

The earlier we make the change the better it'll be for next season! Think he'll be gone by February.

Charlie Nicolson

I agree with you that PC should go. Sadly I also agree with you that I don't think he's getting sacked any time soon

William Noble

Wouldn’t surprise me if we didn’t get a statement from the CEO

Stephen

It’s sad for the younger fans. My son used to come up with all these optimistic hopes like “ if we win the last 3 old firm games you never know.” He has given up on all that now. He wasn’t even too bothered about watching it last night.

Jim Milne

If we can't afford to sack Clement we can't afford Dyche's wages, which would be considerably more.

Brian Auld

Controversial opinion but I always thought this season would be difficult and I think patience is needed. Everyone knows this isn’t acceptable but I don’t think changing manager will solve all our problems. If anything it just creates new ones. The biggest issue is getting the Old Firm and European performances on a more consistent basis. It’s not that they can’t do it, it’s just not happening often enough. If we keep firing managers every year then we have learned absolutely nothing and the cycle continues again.

Craig

Patience would be realistic if we saw progress, but we’re regressing. That for me is the main issue.

Bruce Burns

I didn't bother watching the game on TV last night. I'd just got home from working away this week so hadn't seen the kids but would usually still have put the game on. Just knew it would make me miserable and it all feels pretty meaningless, which is depressing so early in January

Brian Auld

We just comfortably beat Celtic and are high up in the Europa League table. The main issue for me is the grindy games against teams that play deep that we need to win consistently away from home. I think a bit of transfer business now and in summer then we will get there. It was the same when everyone wanted Gerrard sacked before he won the league because he couldn’t work out how to beat the “low block”.

Graham Jones

Who died and put the rangers supporters association in charge? Who are they to speak for the rest of us? Do they have any idea how much it would cost to pay the management team off? But we’re missing the whole point here. The real culprits here are the frigging board, because they asked the manager to do a rebuild without the right budget. It was nowhere near even adequate to do the job. In fact, I’m not sure Aberdeen could’ve done a rebuild with the finds our board made available. What we are doing is going round in circles until we have new people running the club. Wrong decision after wrong decision after wrong decision. Sean Dyche is a dinosaur, and would be gone within six months. However the real change we need to make is those who are failing to invest. They had the chance to bring back King, but they turned their noses up at it because he would show them up. We’re currently in a death spiral because people have no patience for the process that is required which is around twelve to eighteen month at best. Gerrard only won a title in his third season, and would’ve been gone had Covid not intervened. He got that break and it gave him a chance to rethink things. He also had Walter Smith advising him. So, if the RSA want to do some good then maybe go for the board and not a man who has put his reputation on the line to do an impossible job because grown men in the stands haven’t a clue what it takes to rebuild a squad.

David Mackie

He needs to go, and go now. Unfortunately the people running our club seem inept and if the new CEO & Chairman think PC can turn this around then they must be on drugs or like the previous executive team are deluded. Sadly I think the manager wont be removed because of the ridiculous contract we gave him and we are unable to pay him off. Bottom line now sick to the back teeth of this Rangers squad and management. Season ticket renewals are due in a couple of months if this farce continues I can see many refusing to renew and nobody can blame them, because right now the board are treating us like mugs.

QB_72

PC stating obvious obvious there that was plain to see as we all did last night fkn ell, is he just taking the piss now in pressers? No I don't see the board shifting him either Colin th they may as well come out as a collective group and sing " it's all about the money " geez o. It's Danni that's back fit and playing again Colin 😉 I know it's becoming a difficult watch again but C'mon bro at least get the names right 😁. We are lucky Aberdeen are falling away at the moment, I said that a few months back that we need to watch out backs the way we are non performing . Anyhoo, remember " I wanna see the sunshine after the rain" and cum tae fk Rangers pull yir fingerz oot.

George Higgins

The biggest issue is beating the other Scottish teams it is so obvious that is our problem.

Brian Auld

It is. We haven’t found the formula to beat the dregs that drag us into a battle. Fact is though - there is hee haw money in Scottish Football. If we were winning every week domestically but terrible in Europe that would be even worse for our finances. Clearly we want to win and should be beating these teams. I think that will improve by next season. This one is done anyway from a league perspective.

James McSween

Good to get Dessers out the door. Anyone see Dessers Cortes and Danilo all smiling after we went 1-0 down. These guys just don’t get it. Sick of them posting pish on Instagram after not winning games.

Roderick Boyle

Colin , whether we are three points or thirteen points behind them we are nowhere near winning a Championship for at least a couple of years as I’ve said before , realistically we are a cup team at best until then . To get rid of the manager at this moment in time would be throwing more money down the drain just as we did in the summer clearing out the deadwood . We are not in a strong financial position to continually do this as we will never be able to add any players of any real quality . The mess that the club has been in from the top down for years has contributed no end to what is happening on the park . Hopefully that is now being rectified as without good leadership and sound business structure etc at the top we will continue to flounder . You only have to look back in history when they were hours away from ceasing to exist and in came Fergus McCann and what he did for them was the foundation for them to build on and look at them now . It sticks in my craw to use that example as like any Rangers fan , giving them any credit whatsoever would make you sick but to step back and try and analyse things unfortunately you have to take all things into your analysis . I sincerely hope that we possibly get a centre half or two who can cope with the weekly football that the SPL teams serve up as that is our bread and butter and to win the SPL and have a chance of getting into the Champions League where we need to qualify for to have any chance of getting decent revenue to use wisely to build upon . Finally , i hope Desserts , Dowell plus a few others are sold now to try and finance centres backs just for starters . Roll on Sunday as we continue on the roller coaster of being a Rangers fan with a victory then .

Jim Milne

We don't have anyone in that squad who sets standards. I'd argue the late great Jimmy Bell was a better standard setter than Tav. We are just a pay cheque to some of these journeyman.

Jim Milne

You could bring in Guardiola and nothing will change. Untill Dessers, Matondo, Tavernier, Dowell, Lawrence, etc are off the wage bill we need patience. Arteta had Arsenal in relegation form before he turned it around. I don't expect terrible away form, nor did I foresee almost 100% home. If we fire Clement right now we will never attract a quality manager again. It'll all be project managers. I've went back and forth with Clement but how can we hold a manager accountable when he's got both arms tied behind his back? Yes we have bigger budgets than other teams, but when a club is in crisis on a daily basis morale hits bottom. There is no senior players that have the qualities we need to drag a team thru this, largely because we couldn't afford what they cost. If not for VAR you could argue we'd have won a Scottish Cup and League Cup. I get we didn't but if Clement can play against Spurs the way we did, Nice too and score 6 in two games against a full strength bheasts there is something there. Patrick Stewart needs to address the fans to immediately explain the plan.

Barry Drysdale

He’s used the word positive 2 or 3 times last night!! How our levels have dropped!!

Alan Weir

A simple point. The manager and captain emphasise that everyone is trying their hardest. That is simply not true. Around the 83rd minute last night, a Dundee player struggled on the wing to control the ball, got it under control with his back to goal, then he turned to face the penalty area and delivered a cross into the box. A Rangers player - about ten yards away- allowed the Dundee player to do all of this without putting on any pressure, without challenging the Dundee player and without any tackle whatsoever. That is not trying your best; that is not working hard enough to turn this shambles around.

Jim McCutcheon

Nothing but negatives surrounding the club when do we start to repair the damage that we find ourselves in starting with the manager 🤷‍♂️, thanks Colin👍 can't see this changing anytime soon imo

Joe Ward

We have a manager that at the start of the season was mentioning challenging for the title then dropped points and brings up a rebuild and compare how we played better in one game we drew and comparing it to another game we drew. That is the mentality that he is breeding into this team that are already full of losers he's basically making it ok to drop points. We were playing slightly better with danilo and igamane together and it looks like he's completely abandoned it too play Hagi and bajrami who are far too similar at times and end up cancelling each other out. He doesn't have a clue but knows the board don't have the money to sack him

stefan strzelecki

I have big respect for you doing the podcasts right now. It feels as Rangers supporters, like we are in an abusive relationship , that we are unable to distance from. That is the narcissistic wedge , that this manager has developed throughout the club. I would appeal to the board , to look within themselves , you have an absolute duty to uphold the tradition and values of the club. This manager is toxic , he must be dismissed , at any cost.

Heart and Hand

A horrible partner who takes you on occasional lovely trips to Europe to make up for it but goes back to their own ways when we get home.

David Macintosh

Clubs in the EPL dont need fans to revolt to highlight the obvious. Why do we?

Graeme McLeod

We comfortably beat Celtic in a game with no pressure as we'd already lost the league, then immediately dropped points. Anyone who thinks that one game is a sign that Clement deserves more time is fooling themselves.

George Wells

As an aside; what is the name and band singing the introductory song?

Fraser Dobbie

Good pod Colin, although I don’t really see why we’re surprised Leon King is out of favour, he’s been consistently poor when he’s played, agree he needs to go.
