Rod

My issue with the protest was I have no idea what tangible outcome they are looking for. We just got a new CEO and chairman a few weeks ago.

Jim McCutcheon

Fans booing fellow fans not great if you agree with the union bears or not imo , piss poor st Johnston side things aren't going to improve change is necessary so we will limp on 🤷‍♂️, thanks guys

paul wallace

I'm with you , yes the board have made an absolute arse of it but they realised this and have put people in positions who hopefully actually know how to run the club , hopefully they turn it around. The protest should be aimed at the managers position if anything

John Smith

Good performance but doesn’t take away the fact our club is broken

Keith Kettlewell

The protest won’t change anything but I one hundred percent see why it happened. I’ll say up front that I’ve not been going because with young kids it hard to justify the time to go for the lack of product. Fair play to the folk who are still going. They are talking about a full review starting tomorrow. I’m sick of listening to the bullshit now. They know they will have a sell out of season tickets every year and until that changes the leadership of the club won’t. Grim times

White Family

No CEO in their right mind would touch us, you get people out of a job desperate for employment applying for our gig. Today their goal should have chopped off and Nsiala should of seen the player red carded for elbow to face (can't saying pen as don't know if ball was in play) but they say and do nothing about it, sportscene won't highlight it and all will be forgotten.

White Family

Good 25 mins, rest was turgid garbage personified by subs who hamper and hinder rather than improve. That was a rotten St Johnstone.

Moody Marco

Can we stop calling the UB “ultras” 🤣🤣

Andy Barnett

Booing fans who were brave enough to walk away and make a stand against this board was utterly pathetic. The UB’s aren’t everyone’s cup of tea - their antics like street fighting are immature, but without them it would be like today every week. Pyro, Tifo, singing and the entire atmosphere is down to them home and away. Everyone’s views and expressions are valid - but those who sought to make it UB’s vs the rest are missing the bigger picture and merely accepting more years of garbage mediocrity.

Graeme Glennie

These people boo and in the same breath leave early to catch the subway and are first to have a meltdown when we drop more points, but don't want to lift a finger to do anything about it. Laughable reaction from these people. They have accepted mediocrity.

David Angus

Those subs were mental. Why risk Dessers getting a bad injury if trying to get shot? Why not try and get Bajrami confidence up and get him on at HT? Also makes the Matondo sub at Dens the other night even more baffling!

Peter Hosie

I think we really need to separate the manager, the investors and the two new guys. Some are due a lot of criticism whereas the two new guys are just in the door

David

Its baffling to me that the fans booing are quite happy to sit in silence but yet the ub are trying to do something that forces change, i have no issue with fans staying or going but the booing was ridiculous

Spoon

Every individual has a right to protest or express their feelings at the match. You want to leave leave, you want to boo people leaving crack on, much ado about nothing for me. No time for the UB myself or any of these minority groups at any club, especially the ones who revel in being the “real” fans while embarrassing the club regularly. The team continues to look to the same players to make things happen and we look horrifically short of fitness as games go on. Think the subs are being used simply to try and avoid burning some guys out rather than any expected impact sadly. Rightly or wrongly I don’t currently have much interest in watching the same rubbish and feeling that the manager is ripping the proverbial with the nonsense he talks. 3-1 any other day is a decent result, the issue is we know it’s just a one off with no real correlation to what has gone before or is to come next game.

Rod

Mate my thoughts are just simply what is it that is trying to be achieved, what is the actual end goal of the protest?

Gregg

💯 nail on the head - presume the sack the board chants are predominantly at Park etc. the last time we had an uprising against a board their was an alternative waiting in the wings in the 3 Bears. There is none as far as I can see and protests are not going to achieve much, much as I understand and share the frustrations.

Maca82

Second week in a row we started like a train the other team tweaked tactics and personnel and we toiled albeit vs a significantly worse side than Hibs. Manager is clueless.

Ian w

The standard of football on show, from both teams, was atrocious.

David Innes

Would really like to hear someone from the UBs explain what change they actually want (beyond sacking Clement). The new CEO and chairman have been in the door 5 minutes- that’s the change I was waiting for and I’m prepared to give them time to get things right

Linda Mackay

Setting aside everything that was going on off the pitch today, that 2nd half performance was diabolical and simply unacceptable from any Rangers team. The management team and the players were totally responsible for that. Neither are good enough, with the exception of a few players who are carrying the rest of their team mates.

Bob MacCallum

The Board is going nowhere. They OWN the club. They're hardly in it for the money, are they? They do their best in our present circumstances. Nobody would care about the Board if that big dud, Phil could do his job properly.

Graeme Glennie

I never defended clement. He has his responsibility in this too. But this is a problem before he showed up. Every year we are out the race by January. Eventually you have to question the people running the shop. We've had enough with being told its being rebuilt when it is them who broke it in the first place.

Bob MacCallum

I think if the players could produce on the day, the fans could make enough noise to increase the energy. Nobody really thinks the UB encourages the fans or players. It's the players' displays that create excitement and thus noise.

Oliver Young

They earn back money on their loans which are required because of their mismanagement. It’s the year of 2025 and we are still chasing sustainability because of this current investor board.

Stewart Robertson

The UB are too busy putting up stickers and coordinating their outfits to formulate a plan for meaningful change.

Ross

Respect the views of everyone staying but thought booing the people that left as I did was out of order towards other rangers fans

Andy Barnett

The board do their best???? It is the board who hired the ‘dud’ you speak of, and the dud before him. It is the board who backed the current dud with a contract extension, while refusing to back him in the transfer windows. it is the board who have allowed our trading model to become extinct. It is the board who’ve allowed areas of the stadium to fall into a state of degradation. It is the board who removed our B team form competitive football and thus ruined any pathway for talent to the first team. It is the board who do nothing to stand up to corruption in our game. It is the board who enabled consecutive management teams to cultivate a culture of abject failure. It is the board who stopped investing in our medical department resulting in the worst injury record in our history. It is the board who have allowed us to fall so far back from our only rivals in 3 short years - that we are now in a Bayern/Dortmund situation. So tell us Bob, with all due respect - how are they doing their best?

David

They obviously feel as though change is required within the club like the board and the manager and most fans would agree id imagine

Mark Harvey

Diomande was my MOTM. I really enjoy watching him.

Alan M

Fraser Baillie loyal

Ross Mcfarlane

100% this. Those booing around me (as I left) were also the very ones who consistently leave games 10/15 minutes early to avoid traffic.

Ecky G

Time to get the band back together. Bring back The Blue Order 😇

Lee

Cammy finally seeing the light on how bad dessers is 👍🏻

John Palmer

I never got to see the game but the result was as expected against a Rank Rotten Team. I agree with Protests, everyone has the right to do that but, the way things are right now it just chucks on more embarrassment to accompany our seriously dire situation. We're back to being a total laughing stock for anyone watching either near or from a afar. It's certain that Clement needs to go but, who in their right mind is going to Want to come in and manage our Club knowing that they'll be welcomed in with open arms but quickly hounded out the minute Points are dropped v Them or any other Club in the League. Absolute Conundrum.

John Palmer

I'd like to know why the Union Bears moved to the other side of the Stadium? Can someone shed any light on the reasoning for that?

Billy Forrester

I take it they have a few multi millionaires lined up to come in and finance the team then after ousting the board 🤦‍♂️ be careful what u wish for, mistakes have been made by this board, no doubt, however they have also kept the lights on and provided finance on a yearly basis to ensure the club can operate

Hendi

We have had plenty of Boardroom change though. The CEO and chairman are just in the door. If it was about the manager then that wasn't made clear. It just seemed to be a protest without a defined aim, which is a significant factor in it gaining no wider buy-in.

Andy sawers

Worst thing the manager could do just now is put the same dross on the bench to get them in the shop window. All other clubs are going to see is a player that contributes very little and at times look like they'd struggle to trap a bag of cement

Gregg

Don’t disagree Andy - though we have appointed people to run the business and it’s imperative they are given the autonomy to do so as the ownership group have proven they aren’t capable of doing so. The review - whilst many will roll their eyes - is what any underperforming business should do. Hope they have the right people doing it. I sympathise with the frustrations and protests )and didn’t boo nor take part) but wonder what the end game is - if there was someone willing to step in and invest/ buy the club I suspect the current incumbents would bite their hands off. Dave King has been looking for an out for some time. As things stand it seems the protests will continue indefinitely. It would be good to hear from those involved to hear what the end game is (other than a white or blue knight) which seems like something we have no control over. Maybe an idea for a pod

Scott Watson

Exactly the point Martyn was making on the prematch If there's a power struggle over control of the club, protesting as a means of exerting pressure on one party is meaningful There isn't. Nobody wants to buy into the club. We know this for a fact because Dave King has been trying to sell up for years and nobody is buying So what else is the goal? Force board level change? We've just had a new CEO, chairman, CCO has left. What else could be expected or eve wanted? Force manager change? The CEO has just come out and nailed his colours to the master- the manager is staying unless things go from dire to outright catastrophe. He'd be a lame duck to turn around and change his mind because some people walk out. We'd also roast him for bowing to pressure and not having the courage of his convictions if he did it anyway So what's the objective? To express unhappiness with where we are? I really don't think anyone is confused about that

HAM Slice

I believe it was to give them a larger section and to place them behind a goal to be more of a focal point. Instead of tucked in the corner. It also moves them away from the family section, players taking corners and placing them in the middle of the Broomloan would have placed them closer to visiting away fans. I sit in the Copland rear and I think it's it been a good thing but now i don't get to see the Tifos.

David

The board have put millions into the club but have wasted millions also, like most fans they want the club to be run better

Scott Watson

Colin, you usually listen to the preview on the driver to Ibrox? Where are you coming from, Carlisle? 😁

Gregg

Agreed David - they now need to let the people who they have appointed run the club with no interference. They have shown they’re not very good at it
