Welcome young man. Liking the option to buy . Be very nice if we have Nsiala and this lad ( if good enough) for a season or two.

Jim Milne

Very pleased. This is exactly the type of signing we should be making. Now let's get Lyall Cameron signed either on pre-contract or early.

Craig

What foot does he kick with, if you'll pardon the expression?

Dan

Anyone know the fee?

James McSween

Is he match fit ? Doesn’t look like he’s played in a while.

Peter Hosie

Igamane apparently wasn’t ready yet we seem to be throwing this guy into an already decimated defence. It’s a tough ask of him especially as he’s not played any first team matches for Lille. I do hope he’s a star but to me he seems to be Leon King’s replacement.

Tom

Look forward to seeing him about Easter once he's built all of his IKEA furniture, he's got settled in and worked his way through his Tinder matches etc.

Vinnie

Welcome Rafa. Gone on, be great!

Ross Murphy

Loan with option to buy seems sensible given how little first team senior football he's had. Keep the risks as low as we can while trying to strengthen.

Graham Jones

He doesn’t exactly have a lot of football in his legs, when you look at his profile. When we need experience in the side for away fixtures, we get this other kid to coach for another team. Let’s face it, he’s another project, and we’ll probably see him towards the end of the season from the bench. I’m just bewildered by this signing. He’s not what we needed right now. Yes, we want to sign players with a future in front of them, but the right ones that fit the profile of helping us right now. The French reserve league is not the SPL, and someone needs to remind the club of this. I actually think the summer signing is have proven to be good, in general, but there’s a gaping hole in terms of experience that is causing us to ship points away from home, and that is the priority. I hope the boy is ready for what he’s walking into, because it’s the physicality that can be a shock for a lot of these players. Upper body strength matters in the league we are in, or you get nudged off the ball every time.

I remember youth players such as this and your Rino Gattuso's of this world were announced via a paragraph in the Rangers News. "He will come in to provide competition and cover in the defensive line, with an aim to contribute this season and potentially develop into the future" I understand where we are now but the heart just sinks to deeper depths.

Played a few times for Portugal U18/U20 so you'd think he will have ability. That's no guarantee of working out over here but it's a start... 6"3. That's no guarantee of being good in the air but it's a start... Young enough to have plenty of development and resale opportunity Option to buy seems the ideal model - but you do wonder exactly how often that's going to work for us. If they come in and do brilliantly, they'll probably get attention from elsewhere and take the better money - just like Tillman, even if we have the first option, you can't force someone to sign a contract if they've got their eye somewhere else
