Rona Bluebell

Great to see the youngsters having a go. Dessers has said a lovely goodbye and popped some money on his price (hopefully). Anyway, proud of the team. Safe journey home to everyone.

Stephen Strong

Clement needs to keep playing Rice imho.

William Hughes

We had our chances to take the lead. Then at 1 down hung in there. They missed a couple of great chances, then what a goal from Dessers, beautiful touch and finish. That's the time to concentrate. Done by a good delivery, we switch off and the balls through Butlands legs. Aye gutted but we have a game left, a win at Ibrox then see where we end up. Safe home everyone. WATP

Calum Robertson

Gutting kick in the balls at the end, So sorry for Dessers after all the stick he gets what an unbelievable finish and all the glory and headlines were his and then the sucker punch finish. Safe travels to all the Bears heading home wherever that may be

Peter Hosie

At least we’re through to the play offs plus a slim chance of getting auto qualification

Peter Hosie

Anyone know if the play off is seeded?

David Campbell

Proud of that performance tonight especially the 2nd half. We need a goldson type defender in that box and there first goal doesn't happen. Onto Sunday now that'll be another massive test. They will make us defend safe travel home troops

Jim McCutcheon

Thanks David so near mate definitely deserved the draw felt sorry for cd9 after his lovely goal., jefte unfortunately asleep, sun is the game we need the result 👏, safe travels back 🙏

Fraser Black

Sore one to take, thought we had managed to sneak it. Glad you brought up Butland Davie, there’s a conversation to be had about him in the summer I think . . . Happening too often for me. Rice looks very promising.

Elaine Campbell

PS, we're going to win next week and finish 9th on goal difference or something aren't we? We are aren't we? 😂

John Smith

Deserved at least a point. Thought the gaffer should’ve stuck to his guns and put on Lovelace instead of King

Neil Fox

Ridvan chase first half Fernandes goal second half Pretty much the same chance Look at the difference how a forward thinking player takes it. Howler from the keeper Full back sleeping for the 2nd They celebrated that as if they'd beat a big European side They've spent more money on transfers than our club is worth

David adams

Young Curtis and rice done themselves proud , the futures bright !

Bixby Snyder

It is. 9th plays 24th, 10th plays 23rd and there on down. Higher team plays at home second.

Mr J K Murray

rio anomic aphasia ferdinand was greeting about more inexperience school boys arriving on the pitch, & how a push is interpreted in modern football, such a groupie, we did well against these over paid over here stars lol, except for the typical wet Lancashire earth, sneaky unt captain swinging from the rafters, another fernandes [plural],

Bixby Snyder

A World Cup winner crossed for a Euros winner to score 🤷 What can you do!?

Graham Jones

Maybe if the board gave the manager a reasonable budget to spend we would’ve walked this game tonight. This just highlights the failure of this board, and the fact we have a good manager who has held this team together with chewing gum at times. If we have any intent of turning things around it’s time to give this man a helping hand, because he’s been shoved out front to carry the weight of failure for people hiding behind him. His stock will have risen after the is performance. What it also tells us is that we need to nail down some of those young players who came on and played a mans part tonight. Someone said to me the other day that Nsiala isn;t on a long term contract yet, which sounds inf credible, and I hope that we have done the right thing regarding Rice and Curtis, because after seeing the debacle of last year where players walked out the door for nothing, it would not be tolerated if these talents were poached fro. Under our noses.

Scott Stewart

If the truth be told both Jefte and Ridvan are as much as a defensive liability as tav has been over the years. However both won’t reach Tavs numbers of assist and Goals from open play , both are decent in possession and going forward but neither can truly defend. The First goal comes from Ridvan mistakes that leads to a corner ! Then A Butland holwer and the second Jefte sleeping. And not for the first time . Wee need a new defence for next season from goalie to Cb and two new fullbacks! Build from the back. We just lack the defensive ability and grit to see big games out at times

Colin Gardner

I really don't get all the negativity about the result. OK we could have been better but what is it we actually expect? We have been narrowly beaten by a team who have spent over 500 million quid and we have 2 boys from our B team in who were fantastic btw. We've been better but we never crumbled and it's alright critising Butland and Jefte for their mistakes but that's why they are playing in Scotland. A great effort imo.

Gary Shaw

That was tough to take…..When your first 3 subs are McCausland Rice and Curtis it shows you what we’re dealing with at the moment……

Gary Shaw

Ridvan seems to go under the radar for me and I’ve no idea why….This is a guy that cost £5m and has been injured for large chunks and when he does play he’s atrocious ….he gets nowhere near the same criticism from the fans as the rest of the big money flops…..Bajrhami is another one,the boy just doesn’t fancy it….He’s as halfhearted as they come…….The rest of the boys can hold their heads up high (well maybe not Butland and Jefte)🤣

Gary Shaw

I said the exact same ,David when Butland scored the og…..It’s was a carbon copy of Lukic against us in 92….One of those that actually defies logic 🤦‍♂️

Derek Stevenson

Proud of the team minus a couple who’ve undone us. And Bajrami needs a rocket or change of scene. Gutted at FT, but looking back more disappointed we didn’t take full points v Spurs. Rice deserves more minutes, would prefer to develop him more than Barron who has hit a ceiling now. Rice has more potential and brings height as an added bonus.

David Innes

Fair result on the balance of play but that doesn’t make if any easier to take. Main positive was the young lads showing up well. Rice should get a run in the team now

John Breen

The fact that we didn’t miss Butland one bit when he was injured tells you everything you need to know. He got away with that exact punch only a few weeks ago

Charles McIntyre

Looks like we’ve done enough to get through to the play off round at least. With everything that’s been going on at the Club since we kicked off at Hampden that’s a remarkable achievement for PC and the squad. When I saw our draw I will admit I couldn’t see us finishing top 24 and said so on here I’m sure. Delighted to eat humble pie. This morning I feel pride in the Team going down to Old Trafford depleted and came so close to getting a point. Roll on next week.

John Palmer

You need to tell Jonathan Pearce that Rangers are pretty much thru to the Playoffs as he was spouting GARBAGE in the Commentary. Rangers did not deserve to lose v a Horrendous Man U side who are self proclaimed by their Gaffer as THEE WORST Side EVER. Dessers took his chance well but Rangers should've pressed Maguire more as he's shocking under pressure. The substitutions looked like Clement took the game as a free hit, Man U were there for the taking and we shouldn't done that. Another reason why PC needs to go. Next game v St G at Ibrox should hopefully see us dominate and dismantle them.

Adam Copeland

No matter what is said about Dessers. He is an asset. If he is getting sold it better be for not far off what we paid for him. This board better not shift him out for the wage bill etc. He might not be for us but he'll be what some club needs. Takes all the flack but has contributed far more than most.

Ross Mcewab

Thought Ridvan was atrocious. Shouldn’t be anywhere near this club, not nearly good enough to make up for his physical limitations

Stace1ofthePeople

5 goals in his last 3 games. Although it makes sense financially (and that's only if we replace him properly) no point shipping him out when he is one of the 4 players who actually contribute with goals at this stage of the season. Igamane is the only striker we have in Europe. We are a cerny and danilo injury away from absolute crisis. I personally would be keeping him until end of season. Maybe try playing him up top with danilo in the 10 from time to time or use him as a sub.

Gareth Williams

Is it just me that think Jefte is a bombscare?? I'd love a Sasa Papac style LB who is solid and can defend. Jefte has cost us a few goals like that by not defending properly!

Scott Kerr

I don't usually praise the manager but putting on Rice and Curtis instead of Lawrence and Dowell was a pleasant surprise. So hopefully he sticks with the 2 young lads. Butland always had as mistake in him

David Innes

He certainly has mistakes in him but given his age that’s not surprising. He has potential to improve significantly in the next few years so I think we need to keep playing him

Bryan Watson

Tough one but against this level of opposition all you can ask of Rangers is we go out and compete and we did that. Butland was good overall but hes cost us a goal, no idea whats happened this season. However, it must be said that we had upteen chances to clear that before needlessly giving away the corner. We have been so naive in the month of January trying to play about the back with a back 4 out of position and clearly uncomfortable. Its just silly to be overplaying in those areas especially in the circumstances. Something that took me a back on the telly was you hear all the time that Manchester Utd aren't physical enough, Lisandro Martinez in particular constantly criticised for not being tall enough etc but I thought they looked much bigger than us. Perhaps points out to the lack of physicality in our side as well as just how physical the premier league is.

Bill Jones

yep bugger sums it up

Robert Bryers

Rice showed up brilliantly. For all the talk of development opportunities when comparing Rice to his ex teammate Lennon Miller - Rice has just played 45 mins in Europe at Old Trafford. Clement could easily have chucked on Dowell or Lawrence. I think he's starting to understand what's best for his own long term future

Rose Mcloughlin

We should be proud if not happy with that result...but more important stay safe David and all our travelling fans..enjoy Manchester for another 24hrs.

Heart and Hand

They are much bigger than us. All EPL teams, when you see them v non top 5 league sides, appear bigger, faster and stronger. I have my own theories why but they’re libellous 😀

Heart and Hand

We don’t have any money. If the board or anyone else gave him money we couldn’t spend it due to FFP. We need to sell players better, reinvest that money wisely and grow. Till that happens, this is the reality.

Bryan Watson

Even Amad I don't remember him being that tall 😂 it was Martinez that stuck out like a sore thumb because all you hear on Sky etc is him being slated for not being tall enough for the Premier League so had this notion of him being a wee guy when he is bigger than half our team.
