Thanks again David. Just can't bring myself to listen to anything any of them say,it really is meaningless waffle. The fanbase have to let them all know how pissed off we are with it all. If it means 4k or less at Ibrox then I'm all for it. We have been bled dry by imposters in Rangers shirts enough is enough... sorry for the rant

William Noble

Why does tav have to take all the free kicks and corners?

William Noble

I don’t think the board will sack PCas they like the European gravy train to much

Vanb bryceter

Yep I'm done with him ...they had a week of training the set plays are embarrassing and as predictable as night following day. Hagi and Cerny getting overruled by an ageing and fading right back sums up the shit show we are

KennyY

Nsialla is our best prospect at this moment in time imo. Hamzas form has dropped since we claimed him as the new messiah who we’d sell for a zillion pounds. It’s difficult to become excited watching Rangers at the moment because they just keeping letting us down. No result will change that feeling we have. The only way Clement is likely to be granted any grace going forward is if he wins all the league games between now and the end of the season including both games against Celtic.

Stace1ofthePeople

I saw tav standing over that free kick yesterday that was in a prime position for a left footed player and thought no way is tav gonna try take this. I commented a couple weeks ago about letting others hit free kicks , hagi cerny and Lawrence all have a good strike on them. Hagi scored one couple weeks ago. Let him hit it. 🤯

Stewart Robertson

Was it just me, or was Big Jack slightly distancing himself from PC's playbook of excuses ?

Graham Roy

In fairness cerny and hagi thought we were playing in maroon based on the passes they made! and our corners yesterday were actually mostly decent however we seem to have a team that can’t head the ball!

David Hanlon

I have stopped listening to the managers crap. We didn't score three goals. Two were OGs and we were terrible, couldn't pass the ball and kept losing it. I think we were very lucky and can thank our lucky stars the keeper had a good game. Same old crap from the manager.

Greg Archibald

Clement saying results are more important than performances highlights his biggest issue for me. I feel like the standards he sets are simply any win will do. Which means games like Sunday where we scrape the win by the skin of our teeth are seen as good enough. It's impossible to win enough games over a longer period of time with those standards. Next manager needs to obsess over the performances as much as the results for me. Alex Ferguson post 1983 cup final mentality needed (anyone got a time machine?)

David Mackie

Seriously how much crap can this manager talk !! Yes we won but that was in spite of our performance not became of it. We really are dredging the barrel of credibility when the manager talks that up yesterday as a good performance. Seriously done with PC can't stand him now. He is delusional and completely failing to build a team. He needs to go.

Rachel

I’ve not listened to Clement in a while now because he tends to just piss me off more but it’s actually just embarrassing now. If only you won leagues and trophies on “almost” goals and “almost” wins we’d be flying. Two goals were own goals ffs there was “almost” f all. It’s just not a Rangers Manager mentality we want or need. It can’t just be about scraping wins, don’t get me wrong I know it happens sometimes and that’s fine but we’re scraping by week after week and now it’s completely out of sight because of this exact attitude. I agree with you David in that I know he really has no choice but to try and be positive and stuff but there’s being positive then there’s just absolute delusion that feels like we’re being mugged off a bit.

Heart and Hand

It’s a legacy of trying to set an agenda which wasn’t backed up by the results. A manager who tells is black is white won’t have much credibility to count on when he needs it. It’s too late now.

I honestly think we would be fine in Europe whoever we had as manager, every manager from gerrard has done well in Europe, well the europa league anyway.

8luenose1872

100% mate, if Tav was still putting them in the top corner like he used to then fine but he never scores from a free kick nowadays

8luenose1872

Most of them don't have the balls to play for us. They go from very good to comically bad, even side foot passes over 6 yard get fkd up and don't get me started on Dio's shooting. And it definitely looks to me its coz they are shit scared in just about every league game.

Stephen

I can’t get upset with these press conferences. He is just talking shit to try and keep his job. We would all do the same. If he came out and told the truth people would be raging with that too. Is pretty pointless even watching it.

Rona Bluebell

When you think back to preseason, there was some hope but also a healthy dose of realistic expectations but, bloody hell, don’t think any of us seen it panning out that we’d be kicking our heels mid February as we watch meaningless games with little enthusiasm. A change of manager gives the glimmer of new hope. Right now, it’s worse than bleak. It’s verging on boring.

Rona Bluebell

Actually, I don’t mean boring as Rangers never bore me. It’s something different than apathy. I can’t quite name it. But whatever it is, it isn’t us.

Moody Marco

Maybe worth clarifying Davie that when you say “results” in relation to youth team, you mean providing quality players to the first team, not necessarily actual footballing scorelines

Scott Watson

Despair? Anguish? Despondency? Desolate? Melancholy? Wretchedness? Torment? I think I may be projecting...

Graeme McLeod

The moment Clement publicly disagreed with Sterling's "we've been shit" comment last year it was inevitable he was going to lose at least some of the dressing room. Someone like Butland came here because he wanted to win trophies, not just to play football again, and there's no way he's buying what Clement is selling now.

Iain Gunn

What were your thoughts on Butland saying something like, “he’s focusing more on his own role now, rather than looking to help others”

Rona Bluebell

Yes. Possibly all those descriptions, but it’s more than that. It’s just not us. Any of this. It’s …. alien

Scott Cameron

Spot on as usual regards Clement's comments consistently not matching what our eyes are showing us.

Last season I remember David saying that, at last, we had the correct manager for our club, we all thought the same. I couldn't believe the change in Clement after the Ross Count, Dundee games, it was as if his arse collapsed. That was the start of the warning signs.

David Scott

I worry he actually believes what he is saying and that the rumour of him only being judged at the end of next season is true, terrifies me.

Robbie McCarroll

I agree, what else can he say I’d just give short answers save everyone’s time. I also know it will it annoy me in three weeks time when we drop points and he says well we scored 3 against Hearts and played well like we don’t remember what we saw!

Stephen

Yeah, it will annoy me too but no one does the honourable thing and leaves their job for free when things aren’t going well. People seem to think Clement should do the right thing and leave when it’s very rare any manager does this. It’s up to the board to sack him and it s up to Clrment to try and keep things going as best he can until that happens.

Graham Jones

I would be surprised if he was saying anything other than what he is, be cause he’s trying to manage the mood of the dressing room, and it wouldn’t have been a nice place to be all week, but he will also gauge that mood before he heads for his press conferences after games. When he’s in that press conference he’s still working to manage the mood in the dressing room. He has to put out crap that nobody believes for second, because that’s what the job demands in that moment. Privately he will have very different thoughts and feelings, but he’s dealing with the emotions of a dressing room where they aren;t a bunch of old pro’s. He has to think carefully before he says something after a game, and I don’t think most top managers would’ve said anything different. He’ll be here next season as well, if he can show improvement because the board committed to a long- term project, hence why they gave him a water-tight contract. Unless he was to jump ship for the Belgian job,, or we have a horrific run till the end of the season then he’ll be here next term. Why? Because the board committed to it and the alternative is just like banging our heads off the wall because it will bring more of the same. It will be the same pattern, at the same time for the same reasons. The main reason is because our support can behave like a bunch of the whining little brats. I’ve been like that in the past, and it got us nowhere. So for one, it ma be that they have learned a lesson from what they were doing.
