This was my first old firm win in the time I had my season ticket. I remember coming home and hugging my dad who had seen me come in just fed up after the scuddings the previous couple years. Felt tremendously proud that whole day. Must have listened to the post match on here 100 times and will still go back and relive it

Could be wrong but I’m sure there was something with the Worral loan deal that he had to play a certain amount of games by Jan or Forrest could recall him? No doubt he was one of Gerard’s favourites but I’m positive there was something like that in the background too.

Chris Fletcher

Also big Fil Helander for the blondies?

Glyn Davies

I just remember spamming the majority of my local (who all supprt that lot) with Penny arcade & simply the best on the juke box after the final whistle......a good evening was had thereafter ❤️🤍💙

Sandy Fraser

Brilliant listen today. Need to give a shout out to Ross McCrorie for the tims game too. He was a warrior that day. Sadly he was never going to be able to sit in DM in games we had to play football but the nature of the game suited him that day.

Sandy

Gerard era …. Pt1?

Ross McBride

The Arfield vs Brown drop ball was a big moment I thought. It seemed like it was Arfield letting him know his days of lording it over that fixture were done.

Ryan Macdonald

Glad to be back listening and commenting now David has returned…

James Wilson

another great pod, was wondering if there was somewhere you can check the week by week league standings as you mentioned the table after 21 games? always find it interesting looking back.

Ross Stewart

Tbf. I was 7 when he left so my young mind deceived me. The McCrorie brothers are blonde and I have a soft spot for them but really weren’t good enough in the end

Pedro

JJ and Miko both blonde 😊

Douglas Innes

Egil Ostenstad makes Dessers contributions look like prime Harry Kane for Rangers and maybe why we never signed blond strikers

Marc Henderson

The day after the old firm game I was heading to amsterdam for new year and decided to just go to the pub and direct to the airport, got into Glasgow airport absolutely burst seeing flights back to Ireland with all the sad faces, get to queue for my flight and there is big katic and borna heading home sitting 2 seats infront of me

Bluelacoste

Big woods was blond was he not?

Stuart McWilliams

For all the criticism he got later on, that old firm game was the day I remember thinking Goldson realised how big a club we were. I think he was a doubt beforehand but played through the pain, and I remember him standing in front of the Copeland at full time looking amazed at the fans.

Craig Buchanan

Singing ‘Andy Halliday’ on repeat for what felt like 15 minutes at the end was marvellous. He deserved it.

Calum Robertson

Since it got mentioned no one left a comment on the last episode I went back and left one

Andrew

Won a framed and signed Borna top during the 55 season. Fairly chuffed at the time... then came Gio's first old firm and it's been sat under the bed in bubble wrap ever since. 😅 Such a frustrating player.

Well lads I started the Advocatt years on my holidays in July. This has been my staple listen whilst at work. 2012 to 2018 was a struggle to back through! Finally caught up with the “live shows”, let’s go
