Got a question regarding Charai. With the rest of Clement's backroom staff being dismissed and him being kept on, it does make me wonder was he something that Clement wanted or was Charai was an appointment from the board or even the first steps of the new potential owners getting their own guys in. For example, they can bring in the new manager in the Summer, but Charai was available now and he can work with the players for rest of the season and get a sense of what they will be working with. Or I'm overthinking it and putting 2+2 together and getting 5

The fact that managers get these big payoffs is mental. They are being dismissed due to performance related failure. They should have their contracts waived almost entirely and at most, have the rest of a year paid to them. Paying out these large sums for every dismissal is a joke. I respect employment protections but in this sport, they are far too heavily stacked in the favour of wealthy athletes and management.

That's down to poor negotiating on the part of the club though. Clement originally wanted a longer deal than the club wanted to give him; club caved. Then gave him an extension despite a worrying collapse from March onwards. The fact that they didn't include a get-out highlights how shambolic we are. A rather average manager somehow had the club over a barrell from the get-go.

I thought the same. From the outside looking in something changed. Even if they didn't expect to have to put an interim in place this quickly, Charai is a managerial novice whether he'd be promoted in the summer or now. Personally, I hope it's a sign he's not going to be in charge at all.

Feel more at ease with the situation after listening to Barry's interview last night and the presser today. I think the imminent takeover and the potential heights it could take us plays into that right enough because I'll hold my hands up and say I wouldn't be as cool about it if I couldn't see the light at the end of the tunnel. I don't think anyone including Barry and his staff are under the illusion that they are football messiahs and will transform our fortunes. They are tried and tested winners who knows what it takes to be successful at this club. I think they have been chosen to; 1) Restore a minimum standard - we have clearly fallen below the bare minimum domestically for some months culminating in shit shows like Queens Park and it cost Clement his job. We will not be world beaters or even that good but I hope he can instil the bare minimum standards required and expected (easier said than done). 2) As much as Sportsology are doing a systemic review of the football club as an insititution, I think Barry and co have been chosen to do their own review/audit of this squad. I think they have been chosen to go in, spend a decent amount of time working with this group, then processing that with their specific knowledge of being successful Rangers players so they can give as clear a picture as possible to the new owners and new management team about what players will bring success and what players should be shown the door. It won't be perfect but I wish him every success.

That Jose comment has been completely blown out of proportion and will and should be easily shut down as nothing other than an off the Cuff comment that has No Racist connotations whatsoever. I fully believe that this is an outrageous tactic from Galatasarry to try drive Mourhino out of Turkey but also a tactic to try get into Fenerbaches heads. I thought Scottish Football was a bit of a Joke but Turkish Football truly takes the cake.
