Still watching the game on replay and so far not tired 😜

I’d love to know, who do you guys think is the greatest player-manager ? As in they were about as successful as a manager as they were as a player ? Zidane is an obvious one but I’d say Mario Zagallo

Graham Roy

When you hear about what is happening at Man Utd it shows how bad things could be under the wrong ownership! Kieran maguire on his pod has had a proper go at JR and his cost cutting. My question is do you see anyway Man Utd get back to where they were under the current situation? From the outside I don’t see them getting back for at least a decade. Cutting ordinary people’s jobs is saving thousands of pounds and makes no difference to the millions they are paying towards the existing debt! How long also do you think before crowds start to drop?

Stephen

Managers who complain about player’s attitudes no being what they used to be aren’t complaining that managers wages aren’t what they used to be!

The penny pinching while burning wads of £50 notes does seem like an awful lot of moo for a trickle of milk

See out the sunset of your career in America or arsenal or wherever players do that these days 😂

It’s embarrassing now. Apparently Fernandes offered to pay for the club staff to get overnight for FA cup final and was refused as it made the board look bad!

They’re so like us in that it isn’t that they haven’t spent money, it’s more that they pissed it up a wall.

Declan Cairns

Is there a worse run club in England’s top divisions than Man Utd. I mean £ for £, every decision made. Complete dumpster fire. It’s unbelievable, the number of lay offs, while pissing away how much money? It’s actually staggering

Graham Jones

It’s a waste of an exorcise comparing today’s game to the 1980’s because there are so many changes that have happened for many reasons and not just evolution. Anyone having a go at a player from the 80’s talking about the game today needs to be a bit more respectful. Modern players don’t have to go on the park and try to survive anymore. They can focus on fitness and other things because they don’t have to watch for shocking challenges in the modern game. The physicality in the game has disappeared and it’s more like a game of basketball at times. Better for some, but there’s less jeopardy these days.
