Billy is joined by very special guest, Heart and Hands very own Alan Bradley. It’s one thing to examine the playing staff of Rangers. But what do we know about the owners of the club? Billy compares the Club in its current state with the proposed takeover by the 49ers group and what the club was like when it was first taken over by The Lawrence Group, the first time in the Clubs history that it was owned by corporate entity and not individuals. Are we in a better place now than back then? What are the similarities, what is different. And what were the big changes we might need to get used to if the 49ers deal comes off. Alan was there back in the 80’s and gives a great comparison to where we find ourselves now.

I’m a corporate geek so this is an ecstatic surprise for me

People mention the fallout between Waddel and Wallace in 78 but I think the coup of 47 involving Jim Bowie is the most fascinating what happened in our history

Great pod guys, brought back memories . A few comments Wage structure was a big thing back in 80’s, crowds actually were growing again after return of Wallace . We had a stadium back then everybody else had grounds. Did Murray actually spend anything apart from buying shares .. Marlborough may have rescued it in 80’s but arguably he cocked it up late 70’s and his grandfather in the 60’s in my opinion. Anyway no more garage owners please .

Really informative listen, looking back at previous changes in ownership over the years.
