I think we can all agree all those saying Mourinho would give him a doing are stark raving mad and that Barry should now be given a 10 year deal as the greatest manager we’ve ever had

Jim Milne

Nice to see Alan getting on Extra after a great result 😂 Always enjoy hearing Alan's opinion. Cheers gents.

After that title there's not much else to say other than we were fucking brilliant. Also just drink in the bitterness in the Scottish media. The scum draw and get pumped out of Europe and they are the Harlem Globetrotters. We win boost the coefficient and it's washed over with laughable player ratings to amateur analysis of tactics and style of play. Oh and thanks for the pod will enjoy listening over the weekend

Jim McCutcheon

Thanks Cammy & Alan great pod and a great performance from the team we can get this done at a packed out ibrox 🫡🇺🇲

Craig Fryatt

Thanks Cammy, always a pleasure listening to Alan

I’m watching the Hearts game just now. I think we should be all over Sander Kartum. What a player he is 👏

We need to stop this ‘49ers” thing getting out of hand. The 49ers haven’t won a Super Bowl for forty years, so this idea they will be able to solve all the problem so at Rangers has no foundation. Because things are going okay for Leeds in the English Championship does not give me any sense of them getting things right here, we play in a very unique league, which has a certain physical requirement that even Scottish owners have proven they don’t really know how to get right. I’m not saying it’s not good news we are getting changes at boardroom level, because it’s been long needed, but I’m saying that don’t build this takeover up into something we just don’t yet know enough about. We have no idea who will be running the club long term, who will be on the board and what their intentions are regarding the business of Rangers. I couldn’t;t care less what they do in San Fransisco or Leeds, because all that matters is what their intentions are for Rangers. Regarding the Fenerbahce tie, we have won nothing yet, and I’d advise we remain humble because a lot can happen in ninety minutes or more. Mourinho knows this and hence why he has reminded everyone the tie is not over. It’s when we get too cocky that we get our arses handed to us, so we need to remember there is a job to be done at Ibrox, which has suddenly become a problem playing at for these players.

Alan Bradley

I agree Graham on the potential risks around this proposed takeover. Until the detail becomes clearer, my personal views are just based on what I’ve picked up so far through the media and I’ve applied a healthy or perhaps unhealthy, dose of optimism. I think most of us agree that things absolutely need to change from top to bottom at our club, however the old “careful what you wish for, “ springs to mind. Until it passes final stages and is signed off, as is the nature of these things. it’s just a case of wait and see. Hopefully if it goes through this will provide us with an injection of serious financial backing with significant improvements to our business structure and strategy, with personnel changes which will benefit us both on and off the park. There will be risks, personally I’m just hoping the benefits will be greater for us. In terms of next Thursday’s game, without doubt, let’s not get ahead of ourselves, it’s going to be one hell of a game. We have numerous examples recently of this squad not having the correct attitude and application against lesser opponents, we know how that will end especially in Europe against quality players and a top class Manager. With our support fully behind us from start to finish under the Ibrox floodlights and IF the team play to the best of their capabilities, I am confident we can get through and experience another wonderful Ibrox European night. Fingers crossed that we can progress further in Europe and the takeover goes through, taking our club forward for many years in a positive manner.

Thanks guys..great to enjoy listening to the breakdown of the euro game...lets look forward to thursdays game and hopefully see improvement in our domestic ones.

Thank you gentlemen It's always a pleasure to hear Alan's calm, staunch wisdom but I am pleased he got the opportunity to revel in an excellent result after all the times he consoles us in calamity Make no mistake, this is a sensational result. Any time you avoid defeat away in Europe is good, any time you win away is brilliant (some teams haven't managed it in decades...) but any time you win an away knockout game is outstanding. We really shouldn't let our domestic debacle influence how highly we see it I also echo Alan's sentiments on Balogun, I really wish the stars had aligned differently and he could have played for us in his prime (with us in a sensible league), I feel like we would have been perfect for each other over a long period

Their goal was an excellent finish but did anyone notice Raskin get headed by their player albeit not sure if it was as bad as he made out
