With regards to 7 players. I reckon we could lessen this (albeit slightly) by staying 3-5-2/5-3-2. I reckon a keeper, 1 cb, 1 right back, 1 midfielder, and a striker to augment dessers and igamane as a starting 2. I want danilo to succeed but theres no evidence he can stay fit. Its defo not recency bias as ive been crying out for binning the wingers and number 10 all year

Butland isnt a concern for me! The constant CB pairing hasnt helped him! Just looks out of confidence

Forget the stadium expansion - fix the structures behind the scenes and get a winning team on the park. Expansion would only work if we were playing in the EPL which isn’t gonna happen anytime soon

True mate, just dont see anyone out there that could replace him! My priority though wouldn't be a GK 👍🏻

Having some experience of what being a Rangers captain entails, I can quite honestly say that I think that the Rangers captain that I grew up watching and learning from every day would not entertain the current one in the slightest.

People are building narratives around Clement to enforce what their imaginations have conjured to deal with the reasoning behind the clubs failures. Clement had no idea that so many were out of contract, nor did he realise they had fuck bc all money for the summer. This was why he signed a new deal in the summer, because the chairman needed to keep someone there to hold the ship together. He was badly let down on every level by so-called Rangers men in the boardroom who have somehow took us from winning the title with a team built by Gerrard and King to a squad that severely lacks leaders. You need leaders on the park and we lack them right now. Clement didn’t do breaking down low blocks well, and nor did he work enough at defending set pieces possibly, but he had a stronger record than other managers for the duration he was here. He won a league cup and should’ve had two but was cheated out of that. His record in Europe was good, and he ed would’ve won that game over in Turkey as well, but he paid the price for results against Queen’s Park and Motherwell, and the board sacked him to take away the heat from them. Rich men don’t like criticism or being blamed for failure, and that’s what’s has happened. They are the real culprits in all this. Ferguson is a short term fix to paper over the cracks, but the Rangers manager should have class as a person, and Barry has never cut it in that respect. If he wins the Europa League then he’s done so with another man’s team. Clement had done a lot of the work before Ferguson showed up at the Rangers Training Centre, so no. Think about how Benitez was talked up for winning the Champions League with Gerrard Houllier’s team, and then proceeded to mess it up by selling Alonso. So no, Ferguson is not the answer, no matter what happens in the next couple of months.

I think Ferguson will return to his ambassador/media roles, unless he was given our job. If the club have any brains they will look at Charai, McCann and Dodds potentially being part of a new team. Continuity is key in this transition.
