Stone cold class tune

John Smith

Rafa would be brilliant but I’ve got a feeling we’ll be seeing Stevie G come home next season. And this time he’ll actually get the resources to do what what he wants.

Craig Kerr

One of my favourite tunes, indeed albums.

Chris Fletcher

David quick question. Personally would you take Gerrard back as manager under the new owners? Hard to put aside past feelings but I think if he was backed financially and we were actually ran like a normal football club above I can only see it being successful.

Vanb bryceter

It doesn't matter who gets the managers job The next guy has to meet only one criteria......WIN CONSISTENTLY. Thanks for the update David appreciated 👍

RfcBazza

Yes please for the tickets

hugh yates

Can I have the ticket please

East Enclosure

Andrew I’d love those tickets 🎟️

Baz

I’m not sure you would be able to handle him leaving again.

East Enclosure

My sob story was they tickets were for a resident of a local care home called Coisty McStaunch and it was simultaneously his 100th birthday and 55th wedding anniversary on Thursday,

Scott Kerr

Great update as usual

John leitch

After a few years of basically treading water next season needs to be a total turn around of our domestic form

Graham Roy

We should be looking to get our money back and decent sell on for cifuentes and blank out he was ever a rangers player. Hopefully this summer finally brings a freshness around the club and dump the dead weights. I hope Hamza is still here but he may need to be sacrificed to let us move forward!

Bryan Watson

Massive game on Thursday, job isn't done, Mourinho is one of the best in the business for a reason so need to make sure we go out and kill it. In terms of going further I have no idea, this year's UEL is mental. Looking at our potential opponents I reckon every single one of them could give us a doing but I also think we could give every single one of they teams a doing aswell. I think the supercomputer is giving us an 8% chance of getting to the final and a 3% winning it. Thats more than our predictions for getting to Seville and is more than Olympiacos got for winning UECL last year + more than Atalanta got for winning UEL last year. We have seen on the wrong end of some historic underdog stories this year I would like it to go our way for once. Realistically, I think Roma or Athletic Bilbao in QF is where we get off the bus but its the hope that kills you. One game at a time, onwards to Thursday.

James JCDCoaching

Probably too late, but myself and my Dad would love to attend this match with the spare tickets from Andrew B. Good luck to whoever goes, and thanks Andrew 👏

Graham Leck

What an amazing gesture to offer the 2 tickets up from Andrew, what a great thing to do.

Jim McCutcheon

Thanks David good to have you back 😀👏

David Campbell

We will need at least 1 goal on Thursday night to see us through. It's been weeks since I've been looking forward this much to attending a match. 3-1 Rangers

Craig McWhinnie

Think the Greeks are maybe at a wee bit, Offering a smaller amount knowing full well the potential new owners will see 3 million as chump change anyway?

Jim Milne

Very classy giving away the tickets Andrew. 👏

Steven Carmichael

Wld love to take Andrew's tickets if still going?

Craig Mitchell

I've just got a few questions David. 1. Where's the Flagship? and 2. Gimme the Flagship

Damien Stubbs

….but Gerard has got his suit 👀🤔🤣

chris smith

Surely the 49s Group are serious people … they are not going to give the job to a rookie manager with their new investment on the line. Rangers is about to become a football business rather than a football club effectively run like a corner shop.

Graham Jones

My choice would be Gerard because he has the knowledge of how to win in Scotland after three years of learning about the league. While Benitez is one for the fan boys I’ve always thought he was overrated as a manager. He’s a good coach, but he hasn’t a clue how to build a team, which is what we will need in the summer. For some of those in the fan media out there, a problem for some of them might be if Gerrard wants to bring Beale in with him as coach again. I’m not sure how they would feel about that, but I’d be fine. Beale was never a manager but is a good coach.

Craig

As the Panglossian you proclaim. Can I make a suggestion and that’s if a good result happens on Thursday that we can have a live show / add on to the car pod? I can’t be the only one who could take more content when I’m like a kid at Xmas? I’m perfectly cognisant that you and the podders have life’s- but - I’ve also seen you posting some shite about Dingers pinger at strange hours after a game. Let’s have an open forum or car pod extension with reaction to texts etc. I have no desire to see anyone so Patreon or a zoom / teams call suits me fine. YouTube isn’t necessary and you can sit with a stauner under the table. Just saying

John Palmer

Cifuentes can go for £2million with a 40% sell on. If they don't want to agree to that then, bring him back and sell him on. We can't allow Cyprette Teams try strong arm us into lower Fees. We're about to become an extremely rich Club who'll be run by top class Businessmen. It's a No from Me, they pay or go away.

John Palmer

Managerial appointments I'd be keen on: Mourinho (Top of the list) In no order or preference: Benitez Gattusso Muscat

Grant Thompson

Hi David, any mention of Alan Shearer as next manager? Looked like he enjoyed the last old firm game.

Glyn Davies

Hi John, I agree......we need to stop being low balled into selling our players! That might across the city are always selling players for way above there value.......they just sold Kyogo to Rennes for 12 million euros, now hear me out.....if they can sell Kyogo for 12 million euros, then surely if we sell Dessers in the summer I wouldn't let him go for anything less than 8 million! He is the same age as Kyogo but scored double the goals so far this season. Yes being the champions league & winning championships raises the financial profile but being on the cusp of the europa league quarter finals should mean Dessers value should go up. Ironic considering a lot of fans would of let him go for nothing if they had the choice last summer

Colin Gardner

A fantastic gesture Andrew. This is exactly what separates us from everyone else. 🫶

Granters

Gerrard as next manager makes more and more sense the more i think about it. Unless we can get an elite coach, i don’t think we can take the chance on another foreign manager. There’s too much risk of them just not getting the Scottish game. There’s no real domestic candidate that i can see. Gerrard isn’t going to take the job without assurances on proper funding for new players. He needs to build his reputation again in management, knows the club, knows the league, and knows what it takes to win in Scotland, especially against that lot whose measure he got fairly quickly last time round.

Stace1ofthePeople

I was always off the opinion that I didn't want him back after how he left however, there is no doubting how he loved our football club. He was very open and genuine about that which made me think it was strange for how he left, probably for more reasons than we know of and just 'fucking off' to villa. The next manager needs to have a strong personality and profile , I'm not sure if a 'good manager' is enough. Players joined rangers purely to play under Gerrard and the players would run through brick walls for him. Bit off topic but look at gogic for example , cheap player , tough as shit and gives 115% every game playing for st mirren. Hes an absolute workhorse. Imagine him playing at rangers in front of 50k and Gerrard as manager. Not saying we should sign him but my point is gerard would definitely have players playing for him and rha jersey. And he hates celtic which needs instilled into the team.

Colin Gardner

I agree mate however from what is believed that it was Beale who was the brains behind the team. It would worry me that if Gerrard comes in does he have the tactical knowhow.

Stace1ofthePeople

True , I would like Gerard and maybe mccann and think he would well with other people other than beale. Not sure ferguson would work under someone. Although him and Gerrard have a lot of the same qualities. Not sure if it would be a force to reckon with or if they would clash. I literally don't care who it is just WIN TROPHIES please 🤯🤯🤣

Heart and Hand

I don't get home after a Euro game till about 1 and I'd be divorced if I started podding at that time with my wife trying to sleep.

RfcBazza

Just want to say that Andrew a heart and hand subscriber like ourselves is a top man. That's what we do. Superb Andrew and thank you brother.

Granters

As soon as Barry hit a bad spell - which he undoubtedly would eventually - the board would get crucified for appointing him permanently. If he didn’t get a result in the first Old Firm - a fixture which has become a bit of a millstone round our necks - the support would go tonto.
