We need to end the winless run at Ibrox - fully accept there will be a lot of changes in the summer but we cannot have that hanging over us going into next season

Jim McCutcheon

Ken

Thinking what players would you both keep for next season? 3?

David Baillie

Great points put very well lads. In my opinion a big part of our problem domestically is that week in, week out we come up against teams, we all know who they are, who are made up of a core of “Sellic minded” laddies who would gladly snap their grannies achilles if she was wearing a Rangers strip. For example, the boy who was celebrating getting a goal kick against us at Dens. The following week he’s apologising to the GB for inadvertently scoring against his favourite team. We don’t have many, if any , with a similar Rangers mentality. Winning Rangers teams have always been made up of a core of guys who were dyed in the wool blue noses. Who would fight, bite and battle for the jersey. The big problem we have today is that I honestly don’t know where these guys are. I always hear this argument that we should be signing good Scottish players. Who are they? Where are they? Scotland stopped producing players of any real quality 20 years ago.

Fully agree with David’s point about boring possession-based football and second balls.

It’s an interesting point. It’s not inverse bigotry but there’s guys in teams all over the country that really enjoy lashing it into Rangers. It’s an ideology. A lot of League of Ireland guys who it’s their pinnacle. I’ve been going on about it for years, to point I sound like Roundabout MP in Burniston. We need a some Scottish goons who can take it and dish it.
