Robertson is absolutely NOT an inconsistent referee. He is entirely consistent in his cheating and the stats from the game and over time back this up.

I find it really difficult to take many positives from that game. Zero shots on goal against a Celtic team that was dying on its arse. No ambition or ideas on how to actually create a chance even let alone clear-cut chances. A defence that still looked a bomb scare when Celtic did deign to attack or when we tried to revert back to how RM wants us to play. Substitutions that made no sense. Several new signings looking lost. At best, you can credit Diomande and Barron for winning the midfield and Meghoma (who has been absolutely fine since signing). If Martin is changing his ideas even temporarily, this early, then I don't see the point of Martin - and even if it works, Martin will want to go back to what he knows and believes in - managers like leopards don't change their spots - look at PC last year having brief success when he changed his formation only to revert back soon after. Really think the criticism of Robertson is OTT. He was guilty of the standard refereeing approach to these games, e.g. not wanting to book anyone early, which is why no one was booked until it was much later in the game. Miovski/Scales just isn't a penalty. Miovski does the right thing in trying to get across Scales to ensure there has to be contact, but Scales cleverly slows so he doesn't initiate contact - it is actually Miovski who kicks Scales' leg and then falls. The Moore booking was a clear yellow - he went to ground and through his man - when you slide in it is always more likely to get a booking than a bump/clip/trip. The argument that Celtic made x number of fouls and Rangers made far fewer fouls or that a Celtic player made x number of fouls and Moore was booked for his first, just doesn't make sense because it entirely ignores the context of the foul. I don't blame Igamane for wanting to leave. He owes Rangers nothing. He's an asset at the end of the day. If he was crap, we would hound him out, so because he is good and we like him, he should only leave on our terms? Basically dropped at the end of last year by BF, and then the club is an absolute shambles at the start of this year - I can absolutely see why he would want to move on already.
