The War Years (Rangers & WW2) - Episode 1 1939/40 (Patreon)

RangersTV have released a film covering Rangers during the Second World War called "The War Years". You may see a familiar face appear on it too! We encourage you all to go and watch this, and we wanted to remind you of a series released on this network in June 2019.

James Forrest is joined by Hoggy and Iain McLennan to bring you a new short series - The War Years.

Designed to chronicle season by season and provide a detailed look at the players, the games, the news and the impacts of war on Rangers, Scottish football and Scotland in general.

Episode 1 focuses on the outbreak of war, then the 1939/40 season - Rangers adapting, Christmas 1939, some myths debunked using pesky stats and silverware on show.

All feedback welcome - and let us know if thre is anything you'd like us to focus on or analyse.

Episode 1's music is "The Washing On The Siegried Line" by The Two Leslies from 1939.
