Great pod, thoroughly enjoyed it. How far have we come, and how far have we to go. I'm just delighted that I am able to pass the Rangers on to my grandchildren, both of whom attended their first Rangers Soccer Academy courses over two days during last week's half term. They are 6 and 8 years of age and love the Gers.

I am still scarred by some of the vitriol I got around that time. Especially from some Hamilton Accies fans on Twitter. Hurtful as I had supported their efforts to get rid of an unscrupulous owner in the 90’s. (Having said that I am suspicious of an “Accies fan” from Dublin @craig201874). As others have said Rangers means a lot to my family and has done for generations. Why did they think we deserved to lose our club due to unscrupulous owners but they didn’t ? Anyway they are in trouble now and I won’t be shedding any tears this time.

I may be in the minority now, but I think there are a lot of people writing off Scott Wright too soon. Perhaps a victim of his own success having looked better than expected when he came in at first. Second season syndrome, but he has the attributes to get past this (in my opinion)

Yes . We gave funds to Motherwell and others as they toiled for survival . Very difficult to have any relations now I’d agree . Would I chuck a few quid into buckets for any other Scottish club now ? Possibly one or two lower league clubs but otherwise No I would not .

I may be in a minority, but do not care about winning either of the 2 cups....the League is a must, and Europe after Christmas. Both are preferable to a cup win in my view, the cup should give key players a rest and bring through youth.
