Ashcroft header should've been offside, there were at least 3 of them off. Thankfully we didn't need to rely on the officials... I agree, Sands was very good today.

David Smart

Yeah I looked at the replay intently for that because I seen bassey claiming and as you say 3 of them offside, surprised that wasn’t picked up.

David McBurney

I'm hearing the fans are starting to get the songbook out again, i understand why the fans are doing it but is anyone else concerned about us giving the media a stick to beat us with

Simon H&H

I believe a dog had entered the room I was recording then quickly ran away 😃

PR__92

Professional performance only negative today was the signing again I understand the fans are pissed off but that's not the way to go about it can't talk about morals or the board when the morals of the fans aren't exactly great

David Ferguson

Whilst i don’t condone the songbook I also don’t think the media need hard evidence as their stick to try and beat us with. There’s clear displeasure with the board and they need to address it. Just glad it didn’t happen on Thursday when the eagle eyes were on us

Rona Bluebell

Good listen. Agree Tav has hit a good run and Jack has raised the team overall and maybe given Tav and others more confidence to relax. But … the last two still cup games, desperately needs to translate to league consistency. Like to see a strong, high goal scoring performance next week. That would be three games on the trot.

Kirk Guthrie

Lmao this song to open? Man you guys are old

scott skinner

A good performance but so depressed and angered by the ignorant, moronic songs that have returned to the stands. The Famine Song? Really? It's shameful stuff and completely indefensible. Some of our fans really need to grow up.

Martin Davies

The friendly is a convenient excuse - many fans are revelling in the return of these songs. I'm glad my older son was at the game today with me rather than the younger one - I'd prefer he doesn't learn these songs and I'm not sure how I'd answer his questions. Get songs about the Pope, the IRA and Bobby fuckin Sands in the bin where they belong.

Bob Taylor

The headed chance they had, looked as though they had at least 2 offside and possibly a foul on big phil. Certainly would've been a var shout had it went in.

Dale Renton

No mention of Diallo's impact as a sub probably says it quite eloquently. Doubt we'll see much more of him on exposed form. Hope he proves me wrong.

Paul Miller

Great result and performance. Looks like the team prefer a 4pm kick off after a European match, rather than the obligatory 12 noon.

Rod Murray

It’s a real shame. Just when you think our support have entered the 21st century this pish starts up again.

Graham Jones

We need to cut the songs out, because they are consigned to the dustbin of history. By all means protest, because this friendly is just learning a bad taste in the mouth, but do it in more powerful and creative ways than bringing back certain songs that frankly have no place at the club. Sands look like a player who learns quickly, keeps his head down and doesn’t wear an ego through the door every morning. He has a chance.

Gary Shaw

Helanders header was definitely not over the line because if you look at the replay closely the boy actually hooks if off the face of the crossbar which would be impossible to do if the full ball was over the line

David Innes

You just know Celtic will be lobbying their friends in the SFA and Scottish Govt today demanding they take action against us. Exactly what they need right now is another distraction and we’re handing it to them on a plate. Need to wise up and protest in a more sensible way

John Hutchison

I'm utterly depressed looking at the comments on social media this morning. There are many so called supporters out there who are hell bent on continuing with their song book. Is it going to take losing a league title following a points deduction, before they get a grip?

Jock Paterson

Some interesting comments about the choice of tunes at the match. I'm sure these commentators also made their feelings known to the board about entering into a side contract with a paedophile ring's sports division. Or is it that one ok to look away from? The board have had long enough to bin it. The support have very little power, and even less when your own are sniping from the wings too ffs.

Harry Nolan

Great performance yesterday but the return of certain 'songs' was embarrassing. It's definitely going to take some form of points deduction before the penny drops with many of these so-called fans. Disappointed that this wasn't mentioned by the guys in the post-match review.

Heart and Hand

Postmatch is for reaction to the game of football. It'll be spoken about in other shows, including DU and flagship. We record immediately after the show so it's a little unfair to come on 24 hours after it and say 'you didn't cover everything!' when we haven't had any time to consider it and you have. We've spoken many, many times about the singing and will continue to.

Harry Nolan

No worries. And I retract the 'disappointed' comment - should have said I didn't understand why it wasn't mentioned.

Charles McIntyre

Am I missing something? How can harming the Club with the songbook yesterday equate with a protest to the board regarding the friendly?

scott skinner

I'm against the friendly as I'm sure most of us are. Explain to me how singing the Famine Song, the Billy Boys and songs about child abuse help anyone, not least the club we all claim to love?

KMS

Ironic that the biggest fight Scumdee put up for ball possession was that arse of a goalkeeping coach trying to keep the ball from Tav, and only looking like a dick on TV

Rona Bluebell

I like the immediacy of the car pods. That sense and feel of the game captured in the moment. It’s still about that initial gut reaction that reflects the fans feelings. Also like hearing a different take from mine if you have one. Don’t mind that 🙂

Jock Paterson

It’s the form of protest the protesters have chosen? The board should be trying to get the paedo club removed from the league never mind playing besties with them the other side of the world. The problem here isn’t the protesters. As Ricky Gervais famously said to one of them (paraphrasing) “what’s worse, saying words or f**king children?”
