First half woeful. Better 2nd half, so thankful that Gio acknowledged and changed personnel accordingly.

Grant Sneddon

Personally think St Johnstone game changed his opinion on subs and you can see since that's he's made a lot of good changes that have a real influence on games

Scott Watson

Think there's a bit of revisionism going on with the idea that Gio has only started making subs in the last few games - he hooked 3 players at half time at parkhead but he made 4 subs in his very first game against Sparta Prague, then 3 against Livi (which was the maximum at that point in time in Scotland), 3 against Hibs, 3 against Dundee - 13 out of a maximum of 14 subs in his first four games He went a couple of games without making many changes and we all seem to have forgotten everything that happened before that

Grant Sneddon

Not so much revisionism, I've more tried to get across that it's good to see that he's went back to using the bench rather than letting the starting 11 run themselves into the ground during a hectic run. It is a very good point you make about his initial run of games especially Hibs as we know his subs that night won us the game

Scott Watson

Apologies, that comment wasn't aimed at you specifically Grant - I just think some of the discussion since that St. Johnstone game has been a bit ridiculous in terms of forgetfulness. It's also worth remembering that we WON that game - and have got positive results in every game since, without anyone getting injured, so the manager might make a case that he has called it just about right

Tamus

You compared the bog rolls to the Timmy Vs Bernie Higgins protest. Point to note, Higgins didnt get the Tim job. Just saying

Grant Sneddon

Sorry if that came across wrong Scott, that didn't mean to come across so defensive. I think the good thing about doing this show is the variety of opinions as we mentioned and the debate it causes. At the end of the day we all want whats best for the club and hopefully will enjoy a great end to the season

Scott Watson

Absolutely! I always pick up different ways of looking at things from the show

Graham Espie

I get the strength of feeling, does it outweigh our desire to win football games? Also the retrograde songbook isn’t helping anyone’s case. It’s like a supporters bus from the 80’s/90’s. Why has the rubbish returned?
