In relation to Northern Ireland, our under 21s have a qualifier today so not much point taking a lot of players away from that for two friendlies but we so have a few young players in the senior squad but they are championship/league one players such as Caolon Boyd-Munce, Paddy Lane and Trai Hume. We don't have many coming through at the top level only really Conor Bradley at Liverpool and Shea Charles at Man City. Ethan Galbraith of Man Utd has been on loan at Doncaster has been injured and Alfie McCalmont of Leeds has not been playing much on loan at Morecambe. One player you did forget was Charlie McCann who has switched allegiance to Northern Ireland and is with the under 21s. As always we lack a striker. Shayne Lavery has exceeded my expectations at Blackpool but is probably always going to be a championship level player and Dion Charles is a championship/league one player and Conor Washington is basically permanently injured. If we could find a regular goal scorer we would be in with a shout of qualifying.
