Before Thursday it's a trip across the city to face off against Celtic in the final Old Firm game of the season.

As things stand this is still our title and we will be aiming to hold onto that as long as we possibly can.

We'll win they think it's done, we've learned lessons. We have to believe that 3 point's applies pressure to them let's see how they handle that. Then we bring it straight to Leipzig on Thursday.

Great show as ever, Steven and Kev. If it were me, I’d keep Kent and possibly also Aribo fresh for Thursday, benched to begin with tomorrow. Possibly Barasic too given he has had his fitness concerns this year. I’ve not heard much of Itten, but given the significance of this coming week if he is fit, what is the likelihood of seeing him at no9? As the only other conventional striking option, unless there are fitness concerns I think he might surprise a few people. I hope so anyway.

I hear you; it is disappointing though after promising moments last year against Motherwell and Lech Poznan. Madrid too in pre-season. For me, he’s worth a start. Huge game, huge stakes for everyone and especially those like Itten and even Scott Wright, who was disappointing on Thursday. My team: McLaughlin Tav Goldson King Bassey Arfield Davis Kamara Wright Itten Sakala Diallo on for Wright after at most, 1hr. Stretch them when they are tiring. Thought about Lundstam instead of Kamara, but he is another who is vital for Thursday.

I’m not buying that Sunday doesn’t matter, it does. Go there, beat them, apply some pressure, they’ve not had any applied domestically this season & see what happens. Yes it’s a long shot, maybe not probable, it’s still a possibility though so let’s field our best team and go after them, you just never know. We dare to dream 💭 GIRUT WATP

Love the preview show but feel a change of theme music is required as it is like a pumping scene from Channel 5 Red Shoe Diaries back in the day 😆

Poor Strider always taking pelters when he misses a show, I love it 😄 It's a fascinating debate about whether it's better to go out and try to get a good result and go into Thursday on a high or keep our powder dry. It's one of these times that the decision will be rated very much in terms of the results that follow from it, but it's unlikely that the results will tell the full story and a lot of the nuance in how it plays out will only really get discussed in The Preview!

Agree with this. It is a long shot but if it was us only 3 points ahead then facing a decent Hearts team followed by a trip to Tannadice there would certainly be some nerves.

@bluebeans

Well done lads…awkward to preview I’d think 👍🏻

Apart from the keeper you got the starting XI spot on Steven. We're going for it. 2-1 to the famous.

Late to this, but god is Parkhead a dump or what

Gentlemen, I'd be be very interested in getting your thoughts on the contention that this Celtic side are "the worst we've ever lost the title to", "not a good side" anf so on that a lot of people and a few podders are advocating We never like praising "the opposition" but are we being clear-eyed on that? They've gone 29 league games unbeaten after the initial shambles. How many seasons does either side manage that? I think it was Andy Barnett said on a pod the other day that celtic have spent more on players this season than we have in the gerrard-gio era so we really shouldn't be surprised that they are competitive, that level of outlay in a league like ours almost guarantees it

Greg

Yet if we don't shoot ourselves in the foot repeatedly we would be clear, it's on us.

Scott Watson

Oh absolutely, we've lost a massive number of points to individual defensive errors this season. McGregor alone has shipped enough points that we would still be ahead However, to me, that seems like a separate point - the fact we've dropped silly points (and clearly we have) doesn't say anything about what anyone else has done Let me put it another way. They've currently got 85 points. The league winner (both us and them) has had fewer than 90 points in 9 of the last 16 seasons - obvious caveat that we weren't in the top flight for some of those. I don't see where this idea that they are the worst team to ever win a league comes from
