A shell shocked Hoggy is joined by Cammy to reflect on the most incredible night (to date) at Ibrox in a very. very long time.

The guys talk all things Europe, their love for the Silky Scouser and Seville in what will be a weekend two parter.  The in the final part of the show, Hoggy reflects on the Rangers Life of Jimmy Bell.

Hoggy, that tribute to Jimmy Bell at the end was fantastic and very moving. My emotions are all over the place this week. From the pre match excitement early in the week to the enormous sense of loss for a guy I never even met. On Tueaday, my 16yo son Daniel, who has been joining me at Ibrox week in week out for more than 10 years, was playing football and went down in a heap near the end. He tore his calf, and couldn't make the game on Thursday. I was absolutely gutted for him. My dad took his ticket for Thu, he was in Barca in 72 and Manchester 08 but this was his first game this season. We got some photos leaving rhe ground of my dad, brother, nephew and I but the feeling of euphoria was tempered with guilt for enjoying what was the most special pf nights without Dan. He's also going to miss the final despite having enough MyGers points to be there - he has a Higher exam. So my nephew is joining me in Seville with Dan's ticket, and again, I can't shake the feeling of guilt that he won't be there with me. I think I'm more gutted for him than he is himself. Sorry for the ramble. I'm walking the dog with tears streaming down face listening to The Blue Sea of Ibrox at the end of your show.

Hats off to you both again. Fantastic pod and a fitting tribute to Jimmy Bell. Like a lot of listeners this pod is part of my Saturday vital listening while walking the dog or travelling up on the Harrogate bus. Have to say and not ashamed of it but there was a tear in my eye at the end. The person who takes on the kitman role has a harder job than Moyes replacing Ferguson!! Not wanting to ramble on but Thursday was the first time since early season my dad has been able to come up as my mum was waiting on an operation and he didn’t want to leave her on her own. Thankfully she has had it and it’s been a success so he’s back up to Ibrox again. As you say the older we get the more reflective you become and to be able to share Thursday night with him was so special. He was at the Bayern game in 72 but I was too young to go and again not ashamed to admit it but tears were shed as well Thursday. Anyway apologies again for the ramble and here’s to Sevilla putting on a show and coming home with the trophy. We truly are the people 🇬🇧🇬🇧
