Well done keeping the focus but my head is mince with Seville 🤯

David Wylie

Not long to the biggest preview pod of your life's , can't wait for that one. In the meantime keep up the good work 🔴⚪️🔵✈️🇪🇸

CRAIG CASSELLS

Enjoyable listen. But like Hoggys Hamper earlier the sound level from Alex and Kevin is very poor. Have my tablet turned up full but barely audible.

Gordon Combe

I think Lowry, Sands and King should all be playing 90 mins these last league games.

Pondo Sinatra

“The league can go & take a fuck to itself” 🤣😂🤣 Class! 👌

John Smith

Didn’t realise their was a game on

Douglas Innes

Great pod think we need to keep a competitive edge the next game possibly Ross County as well but put out a different side v hearts .. thats a dead rubber

Scott Watson

Super pod, thank you gentlemen! Fascinating discussion on the difficulty of being successful at home whilst competing on the continent. Martyn was discussing the very same thing this week on his Dominant show - and in particular that Souness was very aware of the competing requirements of the two challenges and by his fourth season was trying to find the magic balance but ultimately lost his nerve when things were a bit dicey at home and abandoned the experiment Gio has shown himself to be a much more flexible and dynamic manager than any we've had in recent times - and just as importantly, has been able to identify and extract flexibility out of players that I'm not sure any of us saw was there. I think this approach gives him a better chance of striking the magic balance than most others. The domestic results to date don't really support that, but I think another one of his signature characteristics in his time so far has been adapting effectively after every setback, so I'm really quite excited to see what a new season with some of his own players and a full pre-season will bring

Nicholas Dickson

Do we really need to play these games honestly 🤷🏼‍♂️

Scott Watson

I think it's definitely better to have games to keep ticking over. Remember the gap between the last league game and the Scottish Cup final in 2016?

Graeme Smith

Can’t get enough content right now!!

Making Strides

I'll bet he doesn't remember saying it, but Souness said after 9iar that we wouldn't have won that had he stayed as he'd have been more focused on Europe eventually.

Scott Watson

Ah, very interesting. I'm leery of making too many Souness/Gerrard comparisons but I think both of them did end up climbing the walls with how small and limited the scottish domestic scene is Not going to lie, I'm now really tempted to run the numbers on how often european winners win their own league and see if there's any noticeable variation by country 😄

Alan Ryder

Best show on the network as I always say. Enjoyed the discussion around the balance between being successful domestically and in Europe. It's definitely a factor imo. Was also good to talk to Steven in the Louden before the game!

Angus Mackay

I don't log in to comment often, guys, but just a wee note of thanks for all your efforts on this stellar show throughout the season. I rarely miss an episode and always enjoy it late on the eve of the game,
