Great show again, Alan. Thanks, John, for the "epic" shout-out. As you know, I've shared your 40 odd years following the Gers. Great memories provoked by yours. Just a pity you started watching in the early 80s! You know my views on that.

Bob MacCallum

Alan, it didn't come up in our chat, but 1986, without doubt, was the worst year of my life. Happily, things improved after that though.

Great stuff your show is brilliant Alan and I can relate to a lot that John said as we are a similar age. I love the way you also go into other aspects of people's lives. Proud you served your country and the treatment afterwards does leave a bitter taste. I was in Seville and the result disappointing but the overall trip great and Saturday was just rewards for a hard season. Cheers lads great listen.

Alan Bradley

I remember reading that in the notes and was glad all improved Bob. I was married in Jan 1986 so positive for myself. Especially when the Rangers revolution and dominant period commenced that year.

Thanks mate much appreciated. Yeah like yourself, I’m so proud of John and all the others who have served or continue to serve in our Armed Forces. Seville was disappointing, but also fantastic to have been there to support our team. Adelaide to Seville, now that’s a return journey and a half.

Johnnie Mitchell

Fascinating listen lads. Another great show. Well played Alan and John.
