Disagree about success this season any year we get to a Euro final is a huge success. Winning the cup was great as we hadn’t won it for a long while but even if we hadn’t I would still say it was a successful season.

I think as squad players both make sense, depending on wages etc. Specifically squad players though, not 25+ starts.

Aaron Wan Bissaka had one good season at palace and goes for £50m to ManU when he was 21yo. It’s sad that we won’t even get half that fee for Bassey who I genuinely think is a much better and versatile player.

Depends on what his expectations are. If he wants a year and be a bit part player then absolutely. However if he wants guaranteed playing time then we have to respect that and let him leave.

I'll be sorry to see Davis go but I think we're going to need to cut the cord at some point. As sad as it is to see them go, it's equally exciting to see something fresh.

I would be giving Davis another year I think he still offers us alot and with the youth we have and want to bring into the 1st team we need experience around them and Davis I think would be a hugely influencial figure. I love arfield and I think if he can get offered another year then I think Davis deserves it as well. We will need a big squad as we have seen with the number of games we have had this season we will need to rotate again and i would rather have Davis then going out and just buying another squad player.

Agree about McLaughlin, David. I'm a firm believer in a successful team having a solid spine. McLaughlin, Bassey, Lundstram and Morelos is a great spine. Once Lowry is a first team regular, that is an exciting backbone.

Ok that wasn’t put the best🤣. Even if we hadn’t won the cup the clubs profile outside of Scotland is as high as it’s been in years , in that respect it would have been a success. Anyway the cup win made it a mote point, note to self don’t post when tired 🤣

Agree too with what Balogun said about getting back up after knocks, it’s the DNA. I really loved that he accepted you get stick and you have to be able to react positively to be a success at our club; a great sign of a top professional.

I honestly think if our European final was this week (after we won’t the Scottish cup) we’d have won against Frankfurt. The extra belief of getting a domestic trophy over the line would have injected some much needed belief that I feel we didn’t look like we had last Wednesday. Give me a European final every day of the week over winning domestic cups, one of the best days of my life! 💙
